I saw you in downtown Disney and was THRILLED to see my first "real lolita" :3 I wanted to come up to you and tell you how cute you were but I was too shy hehe

lolitas seem to fit perfectly in the fantasy land in disney land ! especially in the tea cup ride you two looked adorable !

Just gonna put this out there. In Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea, many girls and guys cosplay the disney characters and wear lolita there. It's a pretty fucking normal thing over in Japan. They even sell the cosplay in the disney shops in there

I just wish america disney would be so rude as to disapprove lolita. Its just a style after all

I never considered that they could turn you down for looking like a character (￢_￢). I'll keep that in mind next time I get to go to disneyland

It's because if you look like a character kids may think you are that character and if you are just enjoying your day and not acting like that character it can ruin a bit of the magic it's so they can control their image they aren't paying you to be nice to kids and smile all day and act like a specific character so

I don't know if any of you Lolitas know this but we So Cal Lolitas had our first annual Disneyland Lolita Day back in October. About 150 of us were there (I think). We all had so much fun! I think it's gonna be an annual thing from here on out. :)

Can I ask if you guys have any extra tips for disney other then what was stated in the video? : ] there was another group that went too from central CA but it was much smaller, me and a small group from OC are going sometime in winter. Just wanted to know if there was any extra advice you might have ^^ would AP's toy fantasy print be okay?

This reminds me of the time I went to Disney with my uncle. I was wearing Lolita and he doesn't like rides, so I went on all the rides by myself. I got to skip the big line because I was in the "single rider" line, but it was a little weird riding the teacup by myself lol. If you plan on going on rides like Splash Mountain or Pirates of the Caribbean I recommend not wearing anything you don't want to get wet, but they are really nice on a hot day to keep you cool in your many layers.

Not the turn entrance! It is the death of all petticoats! JK. Great video! And seriously, I try my best to avoid those murderous things.

+PastelPlaysGames This is what alot of people have problems with. Nervousness, just do what you like and if your parents are supportive than great but, you never know until you ask and if you are still into it than start to slowly convince them.

I wish I could afford Lolita stuff! I went through a phase where I wore all fairy kei though and that was fun. I might have to wear it around again sometime, at school or to the mall or something. I couldn't keep it up everyday though, too much work.

I found this video rather entertaining. I'm hoping to go to Shanghai Disney soon so I'm interested to see how they respond to my Lolita stuff. But I want to share some information with everyone here on why Disney can turn you down for looking like a character. Disney's goal with their parks is to have almost an immersion into the themes and such. They want their guests to go see the characters. If a guest comes in looking like a character it can confuse children and actually can have an affect on the turn out to shows and meet and greets. Now Disneyland Japan may have some differing rules on this considering their culture is way different then American/Euro places but it is still something to keep in mind.

If you can make it Sunday, May 1st is Bats Day fun in the park which is goth day! gothic lolita would fit in perfectly

I think my lolita dress stand out very easily becuase colours are blue and pink and blue bows pattern round middle dress

Because I go crazy when I go to Disney, I would NOT wear any light, bright colors, especially since it'll take time to wash dirty sweet Lolita clothing. Instead, I would dress up in gothic or bittersweet Lolita.
