Watch out for turnstiles though 😂 The one DLD that I forgot to wear bloomers (my first one) the main entrance turnstiles flipped up my dress. Thankfully my husband was behind me and shielded my most embarrassing behavior.. Great video!

That was so informative and helpful! I think majority of the people are predominantly scared of those interactions with security staff and making sure that they are definitely not being mistaken for a character by fellow park goers, so hearing how that usually goes and what responses to say will put a lot of people at ease. I've only ever been to the resort in Florida and I'm not sure whether they're a bit more strict there because of their size or whether I simply haven't bumped into anyone, but I only saw some people Disneybound there and only at Magic Kingdom. Although I do know of another lolita who's also a season pass holder there and certainly wears frills to the park, so she probably follows the same rules as you are. Next time I have the chance to go to Disney, I will definitely follow your tips and tricks, it'd be so lovely to wear lolita to the parks!

I'm not super big into disney tbh, but this was definitely fun information to learn. I love the pics you have taken there 💕

My grandmother thinks that my dresses and skirts that are themed are 'costumes' which I mean yeah that's what clothes are but I am a cosplayer and I know the difference between them and it kinda upsets me when she says that because she LIVES with me and buys me some of my dresses and I showed her what I like and explained it so many times

to be fair my grandma called my normal stuff costumes too. its just the word she used. People who arent 'in' to fashion dont really understand and some of the time just wont ever understand. The amount of times ive had to explain why i cant wear $20 leg avenue corsets (my hips are massively wide and anything less than real steel bones will roll up and look like hot garbage) to the same person has proved to me.

I’m a boy but I dress like a girl . Will they give me a hard time if arrive in my angelic pretty coord and wig . I have been looking forward to this for months and now I’m concerned that I won’t be allowed . Great video thank you !

I went to Disney in an Alice in Wonderland themed outfit (including a wig) and they didnt give me a hard time about it. They might just ask you to take it off for a second tho. They didnt for me bc im young so i cant really do anything too suspicious.

@@jia_berry I think it's actually that they have rules around adults dressing up as Disney characters. There's an extent to what you can wear but you can't have a full on costume, so as not to confuse the kids thinking you're a cast member.

Yes absolutely! When I filmed this I had only ever been to to the California and Tokyo parks (they are very lenient about lolita fashion at Tokyo Disney as long as you don't look scary), but now I've had a chance to work at Disney World too. You're absolutely right that these apply to all the Disney parks.

On the part when someone wants a pic with you, can set up a 'meet up' and then go to eat with them somewhere near so the cast thinks it's a friend meet up so I would say act friendly and if any staff members ask just say these are my friends we set this up.That usually works for me when I went in my 'cosplay' but of course it was casual just the wig and the theme but the true amine fans or your Instagram follows will know who you are and it will know who you are I mean the staff doesnt know and if you just walk right passed them with a big group of similar aged people they wont bat an eye

Love your fashion! I love dressing up to go to Disney after I realized it was more comfortable wearing a dress than pants and a t-shirt. I've been wearing my lolita skirts to Disney for the past few times, but I wasn't able to go all out. My collection of lolita clothes has grown so now I have three complete outfits I can choose around to wear, along with sun umbrellas, gloves, and headwear. I made my own (super pretty imo!) Disney ears that 100% adhere to my tastes and matches my outfits perfectly. My only problem I had with my petticoats was that I ate soooo much food last time that the waist of my petticoat got too tight and I had to take it off. I really can't wait to go back to Disney, but when things are more safe, of course. If you are visiting Disney for multiple days and staying at a hotel, I would definitely advise going back to your hotel during the extremely hot hours just for a breather. Bring a container you can leave in your hotel room to soak your feet with (some hotels only have showers or dont have a bathtub plug) hot water. It really helps with the aches and pains of walking all day ^.^

I'm not a lolita (yet) and I don't have plans to go to Disney (health issues + pandemic) but I still enjoyed the video. Thanks for the advice.

Luckily I’m very tiny so if a security guard asks I can pass as 13 (if they don’t assume I’m a kid already) 😅

My biggest concern was always large crowds of people holding food or other items that could stain my dress, especially when squished in for shows/parades.
