The reason the new Lolitas look great is because you blazed the trail with a ton of guides. You didn't have the same resources when you started!

The first coord is me, and that is actually the reason why I didn't have an 'ita' phase 😂 Lor really helped me out haha~

Who cares if you keep wearing this coord you look amazing in it!

It makes me want to serve her some tea 🍵 and bow down a lot.
I’v never worn Lolita nor do I own any dresses. Yet I’ve watched so many Lolita videos lately. Are you Lolita’s infecting me? What’s going on? Why am I here and how did I get here. I’ve been watching there videos for weeks. I demand answers ?

Welcome to the collective. Resistance is futile. You will be covered in bows.

I just bought a bunch of bows but I have nothing to do with them I’m so confused
I love your channel, It has helped me find the confidence to start wearing lolita in public. I'm a dark skinned trans girl, and seeing you feature more beautiful dark skinned girls makes me happy
Wearing an OP with a cap sleeve with a blouse underneath is one of my favorite combinations.
This is the most relaxing, wholesome content
I dont even dress in Lolita at all but i love these videos
the LEGEND jumped out for this coord
I was about to sell off my Lolita wardrobe a couple of months ago but then I found your channel again and I got so inspired to coord my pieces again, so thank you ❤️❤️
I kinda want Lor to talk about Rococo Lolita Fashion, it’s beautiful ^^
Was worried for a hot minute you weren't gonna recommend beret ;)
This series is so helpful when thinking of how to switch up my own coords too! I feel like an interactive version would be really cool
Damnit. Now I want the yellow Magic Princess JSK. I already have it in sax. Why would you do this to me?????????
I love this type of videos...I do more Gothic and I try to do a little bit more colors in my coordinates
I have the Magic Princess OP in the same colour! Mini crowns/tiaras would look/look super cute with it. You can go full hime with scepters and the like, and a hime-cut wig in maybe a caramel colour if you're going for that kind of look, or Lor's rainbow wig suggestion (which is always fabulous). You don't need wrist decoration (since the frill is already there), nor much neck decoration. I personally would/do use cream lace-top socks, gold or pink shoes, a silver and gold tiara, and a curly dusty rose wig. It looks really sweet and also really hime and I love to wear it that way personally.
Where's the vodka, she said beret, time for as shot.
Great video Lor! I love watching and hearing your opinions/views- also just wanted to say love this coord you’re wearing. I also think your real black hair would be stunning in this outfit! The contrast would be POPPIN😭♥️🌈
OMG this coordinate is amazing! I love this wig with it.
Okay, so you were all "why do you look this good for your first meet up?!" (I'm paraphrasing) but I just want to say that it's entirely because of you and others like you on KZread. I'm not currently wearing Lolita myself, but I've wanted to more and more since I started watching your channel years ago. You're just.. lovely (: I love you and Holly. I love your professional and insightful opinions and your ability to keep sensitive matters sensitively addressed. YOU stay lovely, because you are someone I truly admire. No pressure though. (: I am figuratively adding a golden star to your life chart.
The cord from janaehana, maybe try red stockings if she goes with your Valentine’s Day look advice? They’re all so cute ;-; the black and blue set up was gorgeous, too, I couldn’t think of anything to change. Y’all are styling wizards.
Love these videos and your advice to think of 5 different ways to wear a main piece before buying it. Looking forward to more in the future.
I would love if you coordinated this dress with natural hair or blonde, with the same hat
That coordinate is GORGEOUS! 🤩🤩🤩 The dress and hat are just so BEAUTIFUL and I really love the wig that you paired it with! So pretty! Any pastel princess’s dream!
That wig is POpping !
I love your coordinate today! It's beautiful!
I love the mix of classic and gothic elements in the look at 4:41
Your coord has me SWOONING, Lor! You look absolutely beautiful!
Your eyeshadow looks so nice.
... now I'm just watching all the videos in this series... Okay but like, if you can't match your shoes quite right, you can literally just swap out the laces to something that matches the coord. You can find tons of colors of organza laces on ebay/amazon, or even ribbon laces would be cute. Lingerie garters can make for cute boot cuffs, and you can make little removable accessories to add to your shoes, to like, swap them out depending on the coord, like bows or flowers or pearly things, rhinestones, pom poms... whatever floats your
Again I would watch 16 more of these
A live version would be awesome!
this episode of Fixing Your Coords brought to you by peignoirs!
Your videos have really made me super interested in the Lolita things.
I love your coord, love the hat especially where did you get it?
This coord is so so gorgeous!! Major French aristocracy vibes
I love your hat!
Adore the new wig! By the way, I’m really interested in Lolita fashion but I’m also very new to it and unsure how to get started, and I’m also kind of nervous about it. Does anyone have any advice, or if I should do it all? I remember a year ago I found a lolita-ish dress not knowing what it was and immediately falling in love with the aesthetic surrounding it and the old fashioned style to it. Any advice is appreciated!
What an adorable hat!
I adore this Marie Antoinetteesque coord!
Maybe you can do a collab fixing coords episode with Holly and tackle the gothic coords with her, since she has more experience in that area of lolita.
Hey Lor! I've started watching your videos about a month ago and was inspired to start wearing Lolita every once and a while. So I ordered some jsks and skirts from body line because I'm still in high school and I don't want to spend too much. They come with these really cute bows you can clip onto the dress, and some of the photos on the website show the models wearing the bow on their head. However, the bows only have a very flimsy safety pin on the back. I still want to keep the ability to clip them onto the dress, but I don't know how I would wear them on my head. Do you (or anyone else) have any advice for this? Thanks in advance!
Please tell me the name of the print you're wearing? Also great vid as usual!
im looking trough all your fixing coordinate videos and i think you really look amazing with less makup, but thats just my opinion :P
Off topic, but hey.. :-) It would be super cool if you made a video about the different Lolita online stores! I sometimes find it hard to know what to look after to see if the place is a scam.. :-)
my siblings pulling me into lolita we're making me my mom and of course my siblings making their own outfit for a con im doing more of a gothic sweet ouji style i've been interrested in lolita for a while so this will be pretty fun! i'll probably send you those photos via insta too
If the Lolitas of today had to begin the way most of us older ones did, they definitely would have an Ita phase, but c’mon there are a hundred blogs, KZread channels, Reddit subs and Tiktoks devoted to teaching Lolita fashion and getting advice on their coords. It’s almost like, if you’re an Ita today you’re just not trying - unless that Ita is purposefully altering the fashion. I mean, unless she’s fresh from a fundie/Amish upbringing and she doesn’t have internet. That’s the only exception.
Can someone tell me what that first dress is? Like does anyone maybe know the print? Sry for asking but I kinda love it.
People don’t have ita phases because they have your advise to go off of.
5:38 I have the dress of that skirt! (It was my first dress!❤)
i'm sure you get asked this a million times, but what kind of camera do you film with?
1:38 Because we have you to guide us! 😇
I'm new here, what's an ita phase?
Coordinates as in minecraft coordinates?
you look fabulous miss Lor." i could never post anything.. am 1 too shy, 2 um a private person." #Notificationsquad ;3 YAY
anyone know where to buy a wig like the one referenced at 10:00 ?

Sorry idk
The first Lolita coordinate that I did was so bad, I used a fucking hot pink lalaloopsie wig, a big ass black bow, grey striped tights, and a light pink dress. But it's ok I was only 8 years old at the time
4 is my lucky number too aww
WOO!
hey just bc it was a lil jarring for me but u dont really transition between ppl and it just feels so abrupt? IDK i feel like if you wanted to u could work on like just something to kinda close one persons submission before moving on bc it does feel a lil fast but you do you
Do these come in plus-ish sizes on that site Does it ship to Canada

Each dress will vary because they're made by different companies (but also fyi, Devil inspired is a reseller with huge marked up prices, if you can understand how to use a shopping service, it's waaaay cheaper to buy from the original sellers on Taobao)
for the 4:20 coordinate i would add a big witch hat
I don't know if anybody here are interested, but any advice for a guy who want to apear as a girl?
Lor would make Marie Antoinette jealous
You always remind me of Lady Lovelylocks and this dress does too so I love to see you in it!
that hat alone makes me wanna spend all my money on lolita

Most of my inspiration comes from Victorian fasion and wedding dresses. :) One does not need a sewing machine if one can't afford one (mine is after grandmother by the way... It does not in any way need to be a fancy or modern machine...) i did not had one for many years. One can often fins laces, fringes and stuff on cheap thing in carity sales, garage sales, etc. Supprisingly lof it can be washed and ironed if one are careful. For example Old ladies "sack" dresses often contain lot of fabric and sometime fine patterns and are pretty easy to re make with re shaping and adding stuff. (Sorry for my English, it's not my native language...)
wow im so early wtf
I have to say I was so relieved and encouraged to see a picture of you in your ita phase. I keep seeing these rich Lolitas who think buying affordable stuff in general is always ita and it gets so overwhelming and discouraging...
Great vid just sad I didn't see my submission ;u;
Damn I’m early
Why do people with this style call them coordinates? why not just call them outfits?
@armoredwings4182
5 жыл бұрын
Coordinate definition "To bring the different elements of (a complex activity or organization) into a relationship that will ensure efficiency or harmony." So for Lolita, you need everything to "coordinate" as in to fit together perfectly. You can call them outfits I'm sure but that sounds more fancy.
0 dislikes? What is this peaceful protest 🤔
