Ringer 1 & Ringer 2 - Individual Men Event 10 - 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games

Спорт

Complete coverage of the Men's Ringer 1 and Ringer 2 from the 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games. The 10th event of the Men's Individual competition took place in the Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin, and included the following workouts:
Ringer 1 (6 Minute Time Cap): 30-20-10 reps of Air Bike (calories) and Toes-to-Rings
Ringer 2 (5 Minute Time Cap): 15-10-5 reps for time of Burpees and Overhead Squats (135 LBS)
With the field down to just 10 athletes, Noah Ohlsen is still wearing the leader's jersey, but this dual-event back in the arena could be the one that vaults Mat Fraser into his familiar place at the head of the pack. Two of the weekend's other most impressive performers, Australia's James Newbury and Iceland's B.K. Gudmundsson, also get one of their last chances to gain ground in hopes of a podium finish. The video concludes with Dave Castro announcing the Games' final event for 2019: "The Standard."

Newbury killed himself to win the event. Fraser finished right behind him and had enough to win the next event. Jeez.

Because a lot of other CrossFit movements are more suited to a smaller stature eg Compound movements. Smaller competitors have a smaller range of movement, thus less distance to bring the weight

They don’t adjust the rings or bar in gymnastics, they don’t adjust the height in hurdles, its sports. Some events favor taller athletes some favor shorter.

He dont lose it, and wasnt a close call, Fraser's had bad luck with the Ruck run, his backpack opens and drop a weighted bag that he didnt notice and finish the event without the 50lb in it, so he receive a major penalty (more time to his result) so he drop a lot of places
