How come some are doing squat clean and others not? That's not fair.
@ah7027
4 жыл бұрын
the rule is do a clean. Squat versus power isnt designated therefore either option is valid. In weightlifting competitions you dont have to squat your cleans or snatches. But you tend to lift more weight with a full lift. also like to add that majority of these lifts were pretty solid lifts. The only ones that were bad lifts didnt make the lifts. Mcleod needs some work on his rack because hes almost hitting his knees. But other than that.
"I feel bad for that platform is he wins this event"
So just the clean no jerk?
Mat!!!!!!
Fraser was incredible
A lot of cutting edges for olsen
So after watching live I picked up on coach B. Therefore I went back a few times. He gave clinic on the clean. Rewatch learn and implement.
@ah7027

some of the stuff he says is good. Other stuff is just useless. Like at the beginning when he talked about her widening her grip. Literally wouldn't have sped it up. Widening grip has drawbacks to it as well. For me it actually slows my rack down.
With the new format, if Matt Fraser wasn’t around, I wouldn’t know if they had actually found the most fit person
Mat Fraser monster
Российские тренера и СССР глядя на эти перешагивая через штангу вздрагивают 💯 %
Funny that they use metric for distance measurements, but imperial for weights.🤔
Speed through the middle: 27:30 28:34
smart for ohlsen not attempting that second lift. made a huge difference. 300th of a second to be exact! #ohlsenforthe Games2019.
This is why I love sports, its as honest as it gets, some can argue about gender all they want in our weird culture, but the reality is men really are this much stronger than women, they open with more than the womens max by over 50lbs, and its OK, its just nature people.

They are tested but cycle of for big competitions like this. One thing that is missed though, not anyone can do this. If you train as hard as you possibly want and take the same enhancers as these athletes, you still won’t compare. They are animals inside their minds and that’s what really separates them from the rest.
