If my memory serves, she has always referred to Kim as Ray J's ex lol. I find it hilarious too cause it puts her right where she should have been left at: in a $€x tape with Ray J instead of someone we literally Can Not get away from. I been saturated with Kardazians for years now and they just keep coming at us with more and more bull$hitery.

Jane Campion had ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to have Venus and Serena's names in her mouth in the first place-- *BUT* , what's interesting is how she did not get up on that stage and speak out against the actor who shares her skin tone who had just very recently gone on a podcast and literally said that the very movie she won that award for was "A piece of sh💩t". 🤔

If she wanted to speak her mind about playing against those "boys" that she claimed Serena and Venus never had to play against, she literally could have started with one of those boys who had just insulted her entire project. Nothing to see there, though, Jane was just staying on code as usual!

Why couldn't she have just taken some more verbal swipes at Sam Elliott and his BS comments about women? That would've made sense at least. Echoing what others have already said; there was *no reason* whatsoever to bring Venus and Serena into this. 😤🤦‍♀ I get it that the industry is awful (like most industries) and only 2 women have ever won the Best Director academy award, but ffs that speech she gave recently was so bad.

It's crazy that we can send money to "Hugh Crane", but we can't have healthcare, student debt forgiveness (or even loan refinancing), and housing for the most vulnerable people. It sucks for "Hugh Crane", but we have to save ourselves before we save people outside our country. And we need to stop fighting these crazy wars for the rich. A lot of us are working two jobs to survive, and we can't afford to go to war, or send money to other countries.

People are working... just not for her... nor for other low wages or abusive work relations.

Unfortunately, loads of people _are_ still working for low wages and in abusive environments, but if we keep building our resistance in our communities and our networks of mutual support, more and more people will be able to walk away from rampant exploitation.

During the Cold War there were occasions when the nukes should have been used but weren't because no one is that mad.
