@@silviaj4965 It depends on which country they’re in and what type of Gypsies they are. In Europe they still mostly live in vans and can trace their lineage back to the holocaust. In the US though they don’t have as many living in vans and most can’t even speak the traditional language.

Not knocking Thelma’s talent - I can barely thread a needle but I feel like it’d be easier to design a ridiculously tacky, over the top dress than it would to make one that is simple yet beautifully elegant.

Years later and I still love this show.

Imagine the conversation: "Honey what is the dresscode for the wedding?" "It says Spanish pineapple on the invitatation." 🤣

One thing that’s getting me the most is the dresses look like the outfits we wore to dance competitions in the mid 2000’s

She explains the dress by repeating Spanish, senorita and pineapple 5x each, explains how big some stuff will be and then proceeds to say "but that's really it, that's the dress" 🤷🏻

I’m happy for these young ladies that they stick to their traditions and culture when commissioning wedding dresses. The look on their faces is always pure happiness and pleasure upon seeing their dresses. Kudos to them that they don’t let the opinions of outsiders influence their uniqueness.

I mean all of this is way to much for me. But I absolutely love how happy they look when they get their gowns on. Everyone should feel beautiful..especially on their wedding day.

I've actually met gypsie women, they would vehemently disagree. They have humble living accommodations but their husband's make a very good living. The women are taken care of as are the children. All needs met and all the women are expected to do is keep house and raise the kids to hold to tradition. But traveling you see Hawaiian tropes borrowed in economical tourist packages places around the world esp where there’s a beach involved. I am willing to bet she’s seen the theme as a tourist in more affordable Spanish resorts constantly.

The cat-themed dress is definitely unique! Even if I'd not choose it, it is a fun theme! And the bride seems happy, which is what matters.

Narrator doesn't even sound convinced she was like "and to make sure she stands out, she has chosen a Spanish themed dress" (girl walks in looking like giant palm-tree #3 from a school musical 😅😂

Yeah, ridiculously tight dresses they can neither bend over in, nor sit down while wearing....but, oh, they're "unique" (there is no such thing as "so" unique)!

The cats on the dress…. Wowwwwzers!!!! Lmaooo between that and pineapple dresses idk which is MORE tacky😣😭😭✌🏾

This is one of the few that I really liked the wedding dress and thought is was very different, in a good way. The only thing I didn’t like was the white eyeshadow. It wasn’t necessary and took away from the bride. But other than that, I would say that’s the best gypsy wedding gown I have seen so far. Congratulations!! Oh! And the cake display was lovely too. Thanks for not smashing it in each other’s face!

I literally didn't see ONE diamond 😂🤣😂🤣. Sparkles, cubic zirconia and other things, but not one diamond even though they mention them constantly.

Thelma is an incredible artist! Her level of craftsmanship is surpassed by none! She must have a huge crew of assistance to help her , which that in itself takes mastery.

These girls have such great ideas. I loved all the gowns. The cake was a marvel to behold. Thelma is an artist. Just a great clip. I wish the bride and groom every happiness.
