That's a shame. Unfortunately our experience with male travellers has not been a positive one. To cut it short, 3 turn up, one on pavement, one on path and one who stuck his foot in the door when my very disabled husband answered it. That's when I make an appearance. Told him to remove foot of I'd drop him. All three laughed. Within 10 seconds all three had stopped laughing and the one on the floor lane d in a puddle.

My heart absolutely breaks for her. As a mom there is NO WAY in hell I'd let a 20 year old man around my 15, let alone marry him. She'll get a bunch of kids, he'll be in and out of jail, and she'll basically be a single teen mom. It's Christmas and I'm up here wrapping presents for my 18 year old daughter, she's visiting from Uni, after we just spent a wonderful evening watching Christmas movies. It may be their "culture", but that doesn't make it right.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. My heart breaks for the girls who dont realize there's more to life. You can be anything. This is tragic.

I don't know about other countries, but where I live quinceañeras or quinceaños were originally to celebrate when a girl "became" a woman and was finally old enough to marry. In this parties the girls parent's would have her dress pretty so she could meet suitors and marry off after that.

I fully respect and believe in loving your ancestry. With that being said times are different women are not looked upon as less then a man. I agree. Traditions are awesome. Especially when they go so far back in time. But when traditions hinder true progress it's time to start thinking about changing the tradition. But for this they should toss it. If you're not old enough to go to war or drink. Then you're not old enough to get married. If a 20 year old was eying my 14-15 year old for marriage I'd either sit back & watch my niece or her mother rip him apart. She's my Dragon & has always been taught to be strong. She's like her grandmother too. But what everyone seems to forget is that I'm a lot like my mom deeper down. So if they couldn't run him off I would. That's what happened to an abusive boyfriend of my sister's. But this allowing them to be pulled from school very young for homeschooling & then being expected to marry at 16 should be outlawed.

Women can also equally throw their lives away by protracting their adolescence, changing their majors throughout college to degrees that will have no practical purposes for sustainable careers, settling for live in boyfriend/girlfriend for years. And then when they finally marry and have their debt managed struggle to have children. Her parents should be ashamed, wanting her to marry someone who's in and out of jail

Hope Brendan gets it together because if he keeps going to jail then she'll stay alone with the kids and paying everything all alone

A friend of my mom's has a daughter who is going to end up like that. She had a job teaching bit quit because she got knocked up. Her boyfriend lives in group home for former addicts and works at a pizza place. I said that the guy will skip town before the kid is a year

shes one of the prettiest brides on the show

When I was 15 I was counting down the days until I could legally work (16 and I started my first job 2 days after) I couldn’t imagine feeling like needing to rush things in life to meet age marks or etc.

I wish they made update episodes to see where they are now in 2022
