Im disabled and everyday life is very hard for me and I have to adapt to my home because I guarantee the council isn't going to build me a new home. Its so unfair that new homes are being built when theres millions of people homeless in the uk and most of them have children too. I bet those people wouldn't be complaining that there's no land for horses, these other families can't bloody afford horses. Pay for site's and if you've got to move thats your choice, you can't have it your way cause the rest of us don't
I honestly feel bad for these guys. Constantly being moved/evicted because the council got rid of the travelers sites. Now they have no where to go. They coukd rent a house or buy, but lets face it the second the owners catch wind they are a traveler they wont rent or sell to them. They are literally stuck in a mever ending cycle.
Many fail to realize that most moves are forced, not chosen. People face constant threats to their homes, food, and clothes, and are frequently confronted by the police. It's not just a matter of choosing to move which can greatly affect why some of these children feel the way they do .
