While I like X-Men Days of Future Past, I think there should have been another movie in-between the events of First Class and Days of Future Past showing what happened to all of the First Class characters that we never see again.

I think I’ve always thought that too, but when I rewatched first class and future past recently I kinda warmed up to it, mostly because of the story they tell of Charles being left by Erik and Raven and then Vietnam getting worse and him losing himself mentally and picking himself back up through the movie, While I love a lot of things in the movie, I love this part of it the most and I don’t think they could’ve done it as good as they did there or at all if we had another movie before so yeah, as I said I’ve warmed up to that as it suits that better and feels like a natural continuation of Charles’ story from the end of first class, I do still we think we should’ve known what happened to the others though, maybe if we actually had a scene of Erik and Charles playing chess on the plane they could have talked about what happened to them

The Wolverine is not talked about enough.

X-Men: First Class is my favourite X-Men film and one of the best comic book movies ever. The acting from Fassbender, especially, and the pain you feel him go through. You can see why Charles and Erik have their ideologies and why they care so much for each other.

Fox Marvel movies were like a rollercoaster of quality. When it went high, it went HIGH. When it went low, it went LOW. It had some of the best of the best and it some of the worst of the worst.

John the issue is not capitalist vs socialist. It's Healthcare is insurance based. Insurance should only be for emergencies and not routine. Why do we use insurance for checkups and non life threatening care? Also. Why is it $35k? It's because insurance companies and hospitals are the same enteprises. Also doctors don't post prices. It's corrupt. There is no power given to the consumer.

I remember watching Man of Steel and it being my favorite comic movie.. and then a year later Winter Soldier topped it. I thought it be awhile before that could be topped, and one month later they drop Days Of Future Past and I couldn’t believe Winter Soldier got topped/these great movies dropped so close together.

The healthcare system here in the U.S ia a joke,and the worst part is that a portion of the country are under the impression that this is a great system

Denis should absolutely make his Cleopatra movie next. I think that could be an interesting movie to make before making Dune 3: Messiah, help cleanse the palate and his thoughts before completing this great trilogy. Cleopatra could be his Lawrence Of Arabia. If he doesn't want to do Cleopatra maybe go even bigger with Alexander The Great could be a fascinating sword and sandals movie. I also think some kind of "war movie" from Denis could be very interesting but instead of a WW2 period piece like everyone does something more modern in Iraq or Afghanistan, along the lines of Black Hawk Down but with all the darkness of a Sicario. Maybe after having his share of art-house movies, he could be the guy to create a DC else world "Batman Beyond" movie. Cyberpunk Batman from Denis would be amazing.

Logan and Days of Future past are pretty close for me but I would put Logan on top as I believe it is still a better movie. And I do love Days of Future past.

You can't think it's ridiculous for Superman to wear an S on his chest, but not think it's ridiculous for people not to recognise Clark Kent being Superman, just because he has glasses on 😂

My only problem with the Dune movies, is how important spice is. Its not explained nor shown how it prolongs life. Only some people get super powers from spice? I know the books cover this, but the rest of us normies only watched these movies, not the the '84 version.

Bautista isn't bad at delivering what he's required in Dune Part 2 but I wasn't a fan of a lot of what they gave him to do

Hey John. Do you still take questions for the show via the contact section on your website? I just went to check it out and it clearly has not been updated in quite a few years as it still mentions not to submit any spoiler questions for Spider-Man: No Way Home. I was gonna submit a question there, but if that message hasn't been updated since that film came out, I just assume that questions are no longer being taken from there. What I did wanna ask you though is what do you think the chances are that James Gunn's Superman opens with the ICONIC John Williams theme music like the original Christopher Reeve films and even the Brandon Routh film did? They did change the theme for Superman Returns ever so slightly with John Ottman scoring to update it a bit, but it was essentially the same theme. Do you think we will get that same theme again, something more like what Hans Zimmer did with Man of Steel or something new and different entirely?

If it's in the cards and something she wants to do, i believe when John retires this should become the Kris Carr Show.
