    I think you owning your mistakes is a massive point, it is so important to the process to be honest with ourselves. I don't know the science with the sunlight either, but I am confident that the: quality of light, quantity of light and actual distance to view is like a seriously magic combination for improvement. And those long walks are going a long way in balancing out your screen time! And same here with no editing on the videos lol can't be bothered to learn how to cut and edit it all, just straight up here it is and don't mind when I say the wrong word lol

    I hope so! Yeah, 'number go down' is pretty uninteresting, not a lot can change each episode. People who are interested in the details and are invested will happily sit through an unedited video, those who aren't invested won't even last a few moments on a heavily edited video I think. Whatever, I'll edit the videos worth editing :p

    Good comments. Don't look at the fast reductions as mistakes, but as part of your learning process. They'll be ingredients in your future success. Your main key from here is to just be honest with yourself with where you are. I think that we have all overestimated our progress at one time or another just because we so deeply want to true 20/20 vision. Enjoy your videos, and you'll get there!

    I remember the video ''Astigmatism officially gone''. I was very inspired by that, since I have astigmatism and thought I could get rid of it very fast. This is the great stuff, thanks for your mistakes.

    Astigmatism not officially gone according to my latest eye test, -0.50 in both eyes. At one point I had -1.00 in my left and -0.75 in my right though, so CYL probably has decreased though. Anyway, you know other people have managed to reduce CYL so you should be ready to go in terms of inspiration :)

    Enjoyed the video man. Sounds like your doing it right and well in your way to improvement, as long as you can stay away from binging on video games haha. Those walks everyday are where the gains are at, I do an hour minimum if I can. Quick question, whats your plan to start equalizing? You still have that pesky whole diopter gap there.

  • @NottNott

    @NottNott

    4 жыл бұрын

    Definitely where the gains are. I'm equalising from -3.75/-2.75 to -3.50/-2.75, then -2.25/-1.5 to -2/-1.5. Finally I think I have -1.75/-1.25 to -1.5/-1.25 lined up. I think my equalising isn't perfect though, the glasses I've already bought and own are equalising too close to low myopia, which isn't ideal. We'll see :p

    How did you "cheat" your eye exams? If they've done a full eye exam then they've numbed the eye meaning you physically cannot strain it or "active focus" as you put it.

    So what is your improvement according to autorefractor results?

  • @NottNott

    @NottNott

    4 жыл бұрын

    I reviewed the EyeQue vision tracker a while ago. It still overprescribes by a large amount, roughly 0.75 above normalised. Anyway, my measurements have gone down by 0.75 on the EyeQue vision tracker, for whatever that's worth.

  • @some_developer

    @@NottNott Yeah, I saw that review. But don't you get fresh results from a professional autorefractor every time you visit optometrist?

  • @NottNott

    @NottNott

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@some_developer I do. I haven't visited an optometrist since coronavirus really started in the UK, last results I got on 2 March was -4.75/-3.75. I've been going on three hour walks each day for nearly 40 days now, with extreme proactivity in reducing correctly - I'd probably pass the test at -4/-3 now without active focus. I do plan on getting proper eye tests in the future just as I had in the past.
