Don't Overcomplicate This - Successful Equalising - Endmyopia 20 [Day 722]

There are a lot of techniques. 20-20-20 rule, blinking drills, daily affirmations, head movement. Do these make sense to the biology and mechanisms of the eye? If you keep it simple instead of complicated, it'll be just as effective and you'll be less likely to burn out and quit.
0:00 - Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated
0:54 - You will reduce too quickly
2:10 - My eyeball numbers
4:36 - Keep It Simple
6:42 - Four Fundamentals
8:01 - My 90 day no distance vision experiment
10:44 - No spirituality is a good thing
11:46 - My differentials
14:56 - Never Give Up

6:15 'there's a ciliary muscle inside your eye and you need to make the light rays converge slightly in front of *it*' Whoops, you need to make the light rays converge in front of the retina at the back of your eye, not the ciliary lol.

Bro, i cant arrange normalised glasses and differential glasses and thus distance vision walking is also hampered. I am at -1.5 and -2. Can i practice active vision at home with my books and improve?

Check out this thread: community.endmyopia.org/t/whats-the-advice-for-people-who-cant-buy-norms-diffs/14813/8 I think you're better off waiting until you can buy normalised. -1.5 is close to not needing glasses though. You don't need differentials, your myopia is too low.

Yeah stop it, that’s what I’m doing right now. my first glasses they were like 0.5/0.75 I’m now 1/1.25 then I stopped wearing glasses and my prescription didn’t change after a year. I spent time outdoors and only used glasses for movies.

Besides at those diopters, life isn’t too challenging let’s be honest. Just active focus, spent time outdoors and relax your eyes after close up (phones, books..)

I really wouldn't recommend it, seems too low and in my experience it has really slowed/stopped my improvements, and also makes your life hell because you can't see as clearly. It's less risky to do small reductions and you have a better quality of life. Some people will have success with this though :)

@@NottNott Also, this might be a nooby question but jake says that wearing differentials stops your eye ball physically getting longer. But the endmyopia wiki says it stops ciliary spasm. I'm confused and could you maybe explain if there is a link between these things?

@@NottNott Hi, sorry it's me again. Ideally, normalised glasses should be around - 0.25 lower than full prescription but if you had to choose between - 0.75 or a full 20/20 prescription, what would your choice be?

Haha - new content ideas. I hear ya! I am super eager to improve so I can have a nice update to deliver. Hey, I'm that annoying person! Have you been to an optometrist? That would be a good topic for extra content. Trawl my videos and copy my topics but with your take is another idea - I won't be mad - it's not like any of it is actually mine - it's Jake's info. And as we discussed - different personality points!

Ahhhh! Another annoying person run away!! Another eye test is always fun 😂. I'd prefer to improve more on my own measurements so I can guarantee the eye test would deliver an improved result, otherwise I've gone out of the way for not much. Pandemic is ending in the UK though. 'Personality access points' has totally stuck in my mind. Yoinking your ideas is probably the way to go. A lot of KZread videos are just about taking what is written or done elsewhere and doing it again. Sounds awesome xP
