Muscle, macros emphasizing protein, then fat, THEN carbs, SLEEP, get off electronics early and sleep by 10pm and work on expressing painful emotions so they don't stay repressed and raise adrenaline and cortisol. These things work!

There's nothing wrong with clubbing in your thirties, lol. I am in my late thirties and have literally been at some of the coolest raves of my life during the past 3-4 years. I love dancing for many hours straight, especially when it's at a rave out in nature. Dancing barefoot is just awesome, an incredible feeling ❤ I don't even drink alcohol (quit 7 years ago, the best decision of my life!), yet I still party and lose weight while doing so, haha. I love it! I do yoga for about 30 minutes every morning, but clubbing/raving is my main activity to stay in shape/lose weight. I have more energy now than I had in my twenties (and most people think I am in my twenties). I know people who are in their fifties and sixties, who are grandparents, and they still go to raves once in a while. My goal is to keep dancing and raving until my body can't do it anymore!

Great video! May I add, just be consistent with the things you suggested. Sleep, eating more protein & Whole Foods, staying hydrated (LMNT is awesome!!!), moving your body every day in some form. These things I have done over the last 15 months and I feel great at 56 years old (already post menopause)!

Awesome! All great reminders. My nighttime routine: I'm off the tv by 8:30pm at the latest and then its stretching, journaling, mediating, and reading a book prior to bed. As I age, I am very cognizant of keep muscle mass ON. This actually means that I don't go into a cut very often as I try to keep my macros up so I can keep muscle mass growing. And yes, MOVE!!! 10k steps a day!

Idk if you’ve heard for Dr. Brooke Goldner but she’s been curing and reversing so many autoimmune diseases for people. She gives all the information for her protocols for free all over the place. Plus she has a FB group with so many people with testimonials of reversing things like Hashimotos and lose a ton of weight. She talks a lot about healthy metabolism and slow metabolism is often a result of disease and unhealthy cells and teaches how to repair. She reversed her own Lupus and went from a size 12 to 3 in 3 months. Just might be worth looking into. Especially since you can get all her information and do her protocols for free. No supplements just the cost of the food she recommends you ear. It’s all through nutrition

Done it all and still struggling. Sometimes I can eat and wake iup in the morning more slim but most times I have to eat 6000 a day to manage my weight. I do 8000 if I work out. Whenever I eat 1,250 calories a day I go back to 13 stone in a matter of 2 months. I eat no grains,, lots of wild meat, tofu and vegetables, no sugar and a little red wine I also eat mostly raw vegetables. My diet is excellent because I eat high quality fresh Mediterranean foods. I do have an autoimmune illness and on HRT for 6 months so Iits not much to do with menopause. I do notice when I raise my estrogen patches my weight goes up very fast and my hair gets thin so I'm guessing estrogen might effect my thyroid even though my tests are normal maybe it's still not getting picked up on tests. I have almost always struggled with my weight but it's gotten worse with age. My family are mostly slim and find it easy to keep weight normal. My diet is better than most but I can't exercise much because I have ME/CFS.

What about the timing of eating, fasting, etc? I've always had a fairly fast metabolism. I could eat whatever and how much ever I wanted. I would reduce caloric intake by skipping meals tbh. I've never been a big breakfast person so I don't usually eat my first meal till lunch. By then I am pretty hungry and eat all the wrong things. It's never been an issue until now. I am in my mid thirties and 2 kids later, and it is not working anymore. I just feel fatigued, and my body is gaining and holding onto weight unlike anything I have experienced before.

I jog on my treadmill 2 miles in the morning. I'm 55 and I hate lifting weights. I don't like to exercise at all. I have a cup of coffee then jog 2 miles. I'm very firm my metabolism is much better from cardio. I look great and feel great! I eat whole foods lot's of fruits, veg, and protein. I have a desk job, I feel exercise is over rated. No need to lift weights. Sorry I have heard the research I'm stronger then any of the women my age doing weight training and they look horrible with muscles. I can walk hours on end while they are constantley needing energy drinks not me, my heart is strong!!! I like the lean look, just my opinion.

Do we really need to lift weights during our weight loss journey?? I just like doing cardio and that’s it but I heard that lifting weights helps you not lose muscle. Idk this topic is so confusing to me. I guess it’s do what makes your body feel good. I wrote this before I watched the video btw lol.
