I found your videos a while back before you fell off being a mom for a bit. It’s great to hear your voice again! It’s a struggle to find muscle focused women out here. Keep bringing the content.

The coffee creamer yes! I watch this girl on YB, she works out everyday, eats really healthy and can’t lose the weight. Then she shows her “coffee” that she drinks 2-3 times a day. 3/4 of the cup is flavoured creamer and milk, little bit of actual coffee and bunch of syrup. 😳 that’s a dessert not coffee.

Hi, so I have been watching lots of your videos, and they are super reliable and informative!! So what i got is that if i want to lose fat, then i need to burn more than i eat, but what if i want to gain muscle and burn fat? Do i have to do strength training? I have been doing pilates at home 5+ days a week. And eating good and walking 10,000 + steps a day.... I dont know what im doing wrong! I can't seem to lose this stomach fat. I am well aware that you can not target it, and food has more to do with it than anything, but i guess i need to figure out where to start 😢

Ditch the Pilates. Listen to Gabrielle Lyon. More high weight strength training, 1g protein per pound of ideal body weight. Interval training once a week. Zone 2 cardio 3-4 times a week. Carbs around 100g a day

I hate that everyone says “don’t do CrossFit.” People can get super injured while lifting on their own anywhere if they don’t know what they are doing, which I think is way worse. At least CrossFit has coaches, and a lot of times they pair people up in the classes. I feel like it’s just an easy target because it has a name lol. I don’t even do CrossFit, but it’s like low hanging fruit at this point. I feel like the Juliana rephrase would be- “Don’t be stupid” 😂

I love this vid! Now, I would agree that CF isn’t for everyone, but I believe injuries can occur with any kind of exercise if not taught correct form, and practice. The doctors suggestion comes across slightly bias (per her experience), I would’ve phrased that differently; perhaps back that up with a little data on injury rates of cross-fitters vs. other forms of movement. Hell, I know folks who pull sh*t from doing yoga. But I wouldn’t agree with the notion of saying that yoga is not a great form of movement. Personally, I am a person who engages with all types of movement (low to high impact), and each one has risks, if you’re doing it without instruction and practice.

Great content as always. It's so sweet when you finally lose that unwanted weight. I lost 109 pounds (half the weight of a refrigerator) in less than 4 months and have kept it off since then. Just like every woman struggling with weight loss now, I yoyoed for years - staying on track for a month or 2, losing a few lbs in the process before falling off. And each time I fell off, I just gained the weight back plus more. In July 2021, I was at my heaviest - 255 lbs... See full story on my channel.

Juliana! Help me out for a sec! So I have been on a weight loss journey for sometime now! Not easy after 4 children and mom-life! However, I’m kinda stuck. I’m shooting for my last 10-15 pounds here and I’m struggling! I focus on protein intake, doing much better there! However, a couple questions. Online calorie calculators are telling me 1100-1200 calories/day for a deficit. I’m 5’5” and weigh 158. Also, weighing food….weigh then cook? Or cook then weigh??? 😁 love your videos!

Do you have a suggested weekly meal plan to describe what you talk about at 100 g a day? If I'm 184 lbs but want to be 165.. not sure how much protein or even vegetables to eat. I exercise by walking 30 minutes 5 days a week..2 or 3 days of light weight training.. dealing with back and neck pain so I have to moderate movement from an injury

How old are you? I am 52 and have gone from 160 to 190 the last 3 1/2 years and would love to lose it myself but having trouble staying on track with food. I exercise regularly and am very active. I too have back and neck pain so am using lighter weights too.

I like Buh-caws.. But yeah, while they're not a magic potion that will make you JACKED! overnight, I do find that they make me recover from the DOMS faster. Or I had none at all when I thought I'd be hating life the next day. Ymmv.. And I like everything the first chick said + that green room she was in was pure home deco porn.
