My thoughts on the contestants at this point when I watched the series were something like: Mawaan: really fun, love his energy. great at in-studio banter Daisy: either half-asleep or going absolutely apeshit, which is incredible Katherine: incredibly bad but in a very fun way Richard: also here Johnny: about 2 seconds away from a mental breakdown at all points (Okay, that’s a bit unfair to Richard. I do like him a lot outside of the show but he’s just kinda boring on it to me unfortunately)

I agree with the asessment of Richard being very predictable but I think every series kind of profits from having one contestant that's just very "straight down the line" to highlight the crazyness of others 😉😉

Poppers are drugs that are mainly popular with gay men coz they’re muscle relaxants that make anal sex easier, and the effect is instantaneous. Commercially poppers are also used as VHS cleaner

"The worst thing I've seen on television" is one of the Top 5 moments (of the whole show) for me, and why I cannot allow S10 slander. That and Johnny Vegas, in general. He has too many standout moments of his own.

Yeah Katherine's Christmas tree score is maybe the most egregious one in the history of the show, but for some reason people don't seem to care as much as they do about some others.

The teapot one is one of my favorites of all time. Just loved seeing the English guys struggle with American stuff, much like the Abraham Lincoln task in Taskmaster New Zealand. I’m proud of you for listing the state I was born in (California), the state I was raised in that I still consider home (Tennessee), and the state where I currently live (Alabama). I was disappointed that no one mentioned Tennessee; Alex didn’t even give it a pun, and he very well could’ve (“I’m planning on going to Wimbledon this summer. Then I’ll tennis-see!”). By the way, you were only wrong about Indianapolis; that’s the capital of Indiana. And if I were doing this task, I would’ve said, “Will the turntable stop altogether if I name all fifty? What if I list them in alphabetical order? Because I can!”

Dorothy wasn't a sleep around kind of girl, she was just flirty and liked the companionship of men and for her it was the person not their money that was the attraction but she understood Lorelei and accepted her for who she was though they were very different. What the film really represents is the strength of their friendship. No matter what trouble either (though mostly Lorelei) found themselves in it was never "Well what are you going to do?" but always "Sister, we're really in a jam now!" and they worked together and had each other's backs always. By the way in Jane's big number "Is There Anyone Here for Love?" she wasn't suppose to go into the pool at the end but when they were shooting she was knocked in then came up still singing and the director sensing that it added something to the number kept filming. This was Jane's biggest movie, 20th Century Fox borrowed her from her home studio RKO (she was the bigger star at the time-this is the film that truly cemented Marilyn's star status) and her films there were more noir focused. The best of them though did utilize her gift to infuse humor into a snappy line of dialog. Probably her next two best films are "His Kind of Woman" with Robert Mitchum and "The Las Vegas Story" with Victor Mature. For Marilyn I'd suggest either "Some Like It Hot" or "Niagara" (which was her film just before this one) as the next places to go exploring her filmography.

Silvanian Familes was a toy line from the 1970s/80s. They were woodland creatures that wore clothes and you could buy houses for them to live in. TBH some of them used to freak me out because they were a bit too lifelike, especially the mice characters.

Two more hilarious Monroe films (both directed and co-written by the legendary Billy Wilder) are: Some Like It Hot (on many lists of funniest films ever made) and The 7-Year Itch. And her wardrobes in both films are fabulous! If you want to see Monroe play serious roles: The Misfits and Don’t Bother To Knock are impressive.
