There's a KZread video of a guy who edited this movie to fade to black at the incinerator scene, followed by credits, and then he showed it to his mother and passed it off as the real ending.

I bet she felt traumatized
"Why are those clouds so similar?" It's the pattern of the walls in Andy's room
Toy Story 3 was actually 11 years after 2 released! The clouds at the end are meant to look like the iconic opening shot of the first movie, with Andy's cloud wallpaper. This movie was originally intended to be the last one, but they made 4. Whether it was for money or because there was more story to tell, I'll let you decide. A fifth is in development.

Ehem.... Duke Caboom?
Seeing this one in theaters was basically some kids and mostly adults who loved Toy Story growing up. It had been years since the 2nd one and that scene with the incinerator was literally silent in the theater and a collective "oh thank the gods" sigh when the claw came up. And we were all crying at the final Andy moments - he played with them one last time before going to college. I can't wait to see your reaction the 4th - people tend to either be fine with it or hate it with passion lol Side note, I totally forgot the voice of Louise in Bobs Burgers is also Trixie here! Loved her character in this.

@@AdamfromFWCI Yeah it is definitely not my favorite of the series by any means. Some of it is fine because it's still Toy Story but the vibe is completely different.

I think Disney was trying to make an emotional story adults will relate too because thats who the original Toy Story Audience is now. But Woody and his desire for independence.... thats a bit of a stretch for me. The final scene in Toy Story 4 should have been way more emotionally impactful, but it didnt hit at all. Duke Caboom and Combat Carl were fun though
Fun fact About spanish Buzz dubbing: -Original version - neutral castillian spanish -Latino version - stereotypical castillian spanish -Castillian version (Spain) - thick gypsy spanish, voiced by a famous flamenco singer.
That ending scene is too real, man.

@@erickchristensen746 lol, yeh, we don't count anything after 3 as canon. 😅
When I first saw this I cried and seeing the bond between Andy and woody and you can kind of see it as when he gives woody to Bonnie and it's just so sweet but at the same time you kind of feel that they've been through so much together, and you can see that it's really touching seeing him say goodbye and he felt like his purpose was fulfilled with Andy but now he's to start over with new kid. Seeing how loyal woody is and that's why he's my favorite out of everyone. But Jessie and Buzz's relationship is super sweet. I love this one. Woody was special to Andy because Woody Belong to his dad who passed away which is why Andy Loved Woody so Much in the first place.
Trying watching this in theaters the summer before your senior year of high school. 😢
0:57 It’s a Pixar film. But with that said, Pixar’s history with Disney has always been a bit complicated, as initially it was its own separate company and Disney merely distributed their films, but then Disney bought Pixar in the mid 2000s.
this is definitely my favourite toy story movie, I love seeing people react to it for the first time!
The clouds were supposed to bring to mind the first of the first movie, with the clouds on Andy's wallpaper. One of Bonnie's toys is actually Totoro, a character from a worldwide famous Japanese movie by Studio Ghibli
I think this was a perfectly good into the series; people were satisfied, and they came back and made another movie because they had something to say, and they decided to take it to the level of putting it in front of us whether we like it or not because we like having stuff to watch.
This really should have been the perfect ending to the franchise
6:47 “My mom always said life was like a box of chocolates - you gotta know when to close the lid.”

#4 is a good movie but a prime example of how Hollywood can't let things end when they're supposed to. The end to this movie was the perfect ending to the franchise and they had to screw it up by making a fourth.
This is the best toy story movie! It is so beautiful and a great way to end the franchise
"He's gonna redeem himself? I guess it's a kids' movie. You have to have some moral lesson" Wellllll.... 😅😅😅
I watched your other Toy Story reactions last week, so this was perfect timing.
rumor has it that in toy story 5 Andy and Woody meet up again. Or so the rumors been going around the internet.
Did you know that the garbage man wearing a skull t shirt in the beginning and end of the movie was Sid from the 1st movie? Pixar even confirmed that it was him
Oh god, I was heavily pregnant when I first watched this... I ugly cried for like an hour afterward looool
Damn, I missed your reaction to Toy Story 3. I think they should’ve stopped the franchise with just the third movie

Me personally the 4th is the most beautiful to look at but the characters are completely butchered. The best character is Vincent the ventriloquist dummys (total goosebumps slappy vibes)
Toy Story 4 is genuinely regarded as the worst as it basically ruined the entire point of Toy Story 3 having the most *Perfect* ending the franchise could get. Toy Story 3 is honestly extremely well done, as is on par with the first two no doubt...Sadly we are getting a Toy Story 5 so let's see how much worse they ruin the franchise.

Why were you laughing during the sad abandonment segment? Are you always on? You rarely turn off the laughing gas. Seeing a steady stream of laughter without any ebb and flow is frustrating. I'm not expecting buckets of tears, just some nuance.

Because it was unbelievably sad and tragic, like way over the top tragic. There is something funny when the tragedy gets poured on so heavy like they did in that scene. Plus the sad clown's delivery was grounded and serious, it just made the surreal visuals even more heart wrenching
