A couple hours later someone contacts me and they say "Yes Jesus is saying yes he is your buddy" another time was I obsessing a little over this blue suit and someone prophecies "I see you in this blue suit" etc, another time I was testing this whole thing and I'm about to be prophecied over and I have my Google notes out I had tried writing out a little story and it was about a fire and forest being burnt down and I ask God to confirm if he wants me to write this and sort of as a test because everything had been scary accurate and the person right after says "God wants you to be his little stick lit ablaze with his love, it may not seem like much but one small flame can burn down a whole forest" 😂 another one was I had this. Surreal vision looking at stars, shortly after someone messages me saying Jesus is looking at a telescope with you saying to you "everything I have is yours even the stars" another one I was in the bathroom asking God for a message for my friend Moses in Nigeria and as I'm leaving the bathroom i freeze in place and go into this bizarre trance like Peter in the book of acts and I see my friend Moses as a child playing with a toy firetruck and Jesus sitting next to him with love, I quickly tell them and they are in shock as they had just thrown away that toy that same day, another time I had gotten a word from God about someone close to me who hadn't accepted Jesus and that they had been praying to God secretly, I told them that and the look on their face was priceless as I had no idea they had been praying to God at all, they were shook 😄 this is only a handful of many a 100 times in just the last 12 months after 5 years of me being born again, there's so many more amazing things that have happened but you are beautiful and desired of God, he is a gentleman and will not force you to choose him or love him but he loves so so much, he's asking you if you will come, he will love you and cherish you everyday of your life, he will never abandon you, I beg you to take a chance and not reject God's love for you, he wants to heal you and you to enjoy a living relationship between you, God bless you so much, Jesus says to come to him for rest your weary soul he is humble and meek and tender and gentle, he loves you so much he knows everything about you, nothing about you is unimportant to him 😭❤❤ If you repent and call on his name you will be saved from hell and Jesus's wrath and judgement for all have sinned!! ❤ For God so loved The World that gave his only begotten son that whoever should believe in him will not perish but have eternal life!! 💙🙌🏻 repent all have sinned and fallen short!!❤️‍🔥❤♥️ ❤️✝️❤️

Surreal vision looking at stars, shortly after someone messages me saying Jesus is looking at a telescope with you saying to you "everything I have is yours even the stars" another one I was in the bathroom asking God for a message for my friend Moses in Nigeria and as I'm leaving the bathroom i freeze in place and go into this bizarre trance like Peter in the book of acts and I see my friend Moses as a child playing with a toy firetruck and Jesus sitting next to him with love, I quickly tell them and they are in shock as they had just thrown away that toy that same day, another time I had gotten a word from God about someone close to me who hadn't accepted Jesus and that they had been praying to God secretly, I told them that and the look on their face was priceless as I had no idea they had been praying to God at all, they were shook 😄 this is only a handful of many a 100 times in just the last 12 months after 5 years of me being born again, there's so many more amazing things that have happened but you are beautiful and desired of God, he is a gentleman and will not force you to choose him or love him but he loves so so much, he's asking you if you will come, he will love you and cherish you everyday of your life, he will never abandon you, I beg you to take a chance and not reject God's love for you, he wants to heal you and you to enjoy a living relationship between you, God bless you so much, Jesus says to come to him for rest your weary soul he is humble and meek and tender and gentle, he loves you so much he knows everything about you, nothing about you is unimportant to him 😭❤❤ If you repent and call on his name you will be saved from hell and Jesus's wrath and judgement for all have sinned!! ❤ For God so loved The World that gave his only begotten son that whoever should believe in him will not perish but have eternal life!! 💙🙌🏻 repent all have sinned and fallen short!!❤️‍🔥❤♥️ ❤️✝️❤️

I met David Silverman years ago at a showcase of Simpsons animation cells . It was also the book launch for Planet Simpson, which was basically societal commentary viewed through The Simpsons lens. Anyway, I was covering this show as a student journalist and I had been there all day interviewing people and taking pictures. The curator of the show which was the owner of a store called Animation Connection was so happy about the work that I put in and that I had been there all day, that he had David Silverman draw me a Mr Burns head in appreciation. I even got to take my picture with Mr Silverman and he was such a nice guy. Just the salt of the earth. I'm so glad you had him on.

A couple hours later someone contacts me and they say "Yes Jesus is saying yes he is your buddy" another time was I obsessing a little over this blue suit and someone prophecies "I see you in this blue suit" etc, another time I was testing this whole thing and I'm about to be prophecied over and I have my Google notes out I had tried writing out a little story and it was about a fire and forest being burnt down and I ask God to confirm if he wants me to write this and sort of as a test because everything had been scary accurate and the person right after says "God wants you to be his little stick lit ablaze with his love, it may not seem like much but one small flame can burn down a whole forest" 😂 another one was I had this. A couple hours later someone contacts me and they say "Yes Jesus is saying yes he is your buddy" another time was I obsessing a little over this blue suit and someone prophecies "I see you in this blue suit" etc, another time I was testing this whole thing and I'm about to be prophecied over and I have my Google notes out I had tried writing out a little story and it was about a fire and forest being burnt down and I ask God to confirm if he wants me to write this and sort of as a test because everything had been scary accurate and the person right after says "God wants you to be his little stick lit ablaze with his love, it may not seem like much but one small flame can burn down a whole forest" 😂 another one was I had this. Surreal vision looking at stars, shortly after someone messages me saying Jesus is looking at a telescope with you saying to you "everything I have is yours even the stars" another one I was in the bathroom asking God for a message for my friend Moses in Nigeria and as I'm leaving the bathroom i freeze in place and go into this bizarre trance like Peter in the book of acts and I see my friend Moses as a child playing with a toy firetruck and Jesus sitting next to him with love, I quickly tell them and they are in shock as they had just thrown away that toy that same day, another time I had gotten a word from God about someone close to me who hadn't accepted Jesus and that they had been praying to God secretly, I told them that and the look on their face was priceless as I had no idea they had been praying to God at all, they were shook 😄 this is only a handful of many a 100 times in just the last 12 months after 5 years of me being born again, there's so many more amazing things that have happened but you are beautiful and desired of God, he is a gentleman and will not force you to choose him or love him but he loves so so much, he's asking you if you will come, he will love you and cherish you everyday of your life, he will never abandon you, I beg you to take a chance and not reject God's love for you, he wants to heal you and you to enjoy a living relationship between you, God bless you so much, Jesus says to come to him for rest your weary soul he is humble and meek and tender and gentle, he loves you so much he knows everything about you, nothing about you is unimportant to him 😭❤❤ If you repent and call on his name you will be saved from hell and Jesus's wrath and judgement for all have sinned!! ❤ For God so loved The World that gave his only begotten son that whoever should believe in him will not perish but have eternal life!! 💙🙌🏻 repent all have sinned and fallen short!!❤️‍🔥❤♥️ ❤️✝️❤️

A couple hours later someone contacts me and they say "Yes Jesus is saying yes he is your buddy" another time was I obsessing a little over this blue suit and someone prophecies "I see you in this blue suit" etc, another time I was testing this whole thing and I'm about to be prophecied over and I have my Google notes out I had tried writing out a little story and it was about a fire and forest being burnt down and I ask God to confirm if he wants me to write this and sort of as a test because everything had been scary accurate and the person right after says "God wants you to be his little stick lit ablaze with his love, it may not seem like much but one small flame can burn down a whole forest" 😂 another one was I had this. Surreal vision looking at stars, shortly after someone messages me saying Jesus is looking at a telescope with you saying to you "everything I have is yours even the stars" another one I was in the bathroom asking God for a message for my friend Moses in Nigeria and as I'm leaving the bathroom i freeze in place and go into this bizarre trance like Peter in the book of acts and I see my friend Moses as a child playing with a toy firetruck and Jesus sitting next to him with love, I quickly tell them and they are in shock as they had just thrown away that toy that same day, another time I had gotten a word from God about someone close to me who hadn't accepted Jesus and that they had been praying to God secretly, I told them that and the look on their face was priceless as I had no idea they had been praying to God at all, they were shook 😄 this is only a handful of many a 100 times in just the last 12 months after 5 years of me being born again, there's so many more amazing things that have happened but you are beautiful and desired of God, he is a gentleman and will not force you to choose him or love him but he loves so so much, he's asking you if you will come, he will love you and cherish you everyday of your life, he will never abandon you, I beg you to take a chance and not reject God's love for you, he wants to heal you and you to enjoy a living relationship between you, God bless you so much, Jesus says to come to him for rest your weary soul he is humble and meek and tender and gentle, he loves you so much he knows everything about you, nothing about you is unimportant to him 😭❤❤ If you repent and call on his name you will be saved from hell and Jesus's wrath and judgement for all have sinned!! ❤ For God so loved The World that gave his only begotten son that whoever should believe in him will not perish but have eternal life!! 💙🙌🏻 repent all have sinned and fallen short!!❤️‍🔥❤♥️ ❤️✝️❤️

Funnily enough, as a child i used to have night terrors. One of them was an open space with giant shapes (Spheres, Pyramids etc). And then a year or so later, i see the 3d Simpsons episode. Once they went into the light and the 3d world appeared, i was freaking out because it was so similar to my nightmare. A true house of horrors for me as a kid.

Surreal vision looking at stars, shortly after someone messages me saying Jesus is looking at a telescope with you saying to you "everything I have is yours even the stars" another one I was in the bathroom asking God for a message for my friend Moses in Nigeria and as I'm leaving the bathroom i freeze in place and go into this bizarre trance like Peter in the book of acts and I see my friend Moses as a child playing with a toy firetruck and Jesus sitting next to him with love, I quickly tell them and they are in shock as they had just thrown away that toy that same day, another time I had gotten a word from God about someone close to me who hadn't accepted Jesus and that they had been praying to God secretly, I told them that and the look on their face was priceless as I had no idea they had been praying to God at all, they were shook 😄 this is only a handful of many a 100 times in just the last 12 months after 5 years of me being born again, there's so many more amazing things that have happened but you are beautiful and desired of God, he is a gentleman and will not force you to choose him or love him but he loves so so much, he's asking you if you will come, he will love you and cherish you everyday of your life, he will never abandon you, I beg you to take a chance and not reject God's love for you, he wants to heal you and you to enjoy a living relationship between you, God bless you so much, Jesus says to come to him for rest your weary soul he is humble and meek and tender and gentle, he loves you so much he knows everything about you, nothing about you is unimportant to him 😭❤❤ If you repent and call on his name you will be saved from hell and Jesus's wrath and judgement for all have sinned!! ❤ For God so loved The World that gave his only begotten son that whoever should believe in him will not perish but have eternal life!! 💙🙌🏻 repent all have sinned and fallen short!!❤️‍🔥❤♥️ ❤️✝️❤️

Many many years ago I saw Harry Shearer live. He did a Q&A at the end and answered many questions in character, which was a treat. Someone asked him "How long will the Simpsons go for?" He answered dead serious in his normal voice "Until it's no longer profitable."

I've long wondered why, say, the moving arm of an HB cartoon character was a slightly different shade than the shoulder to which it was attached. I knew it was on a separate acetate sheet, but I never considered the "not so perfect" transparency of that plastic sheet would act as a "filter" to the cels and background plate beneath it, ever so slightly washing out those colors so an exact match was next to impossible. In retrospect, it makes so much sense! I now feel like an idiot!

The part I found interesting was the fact that any time you DON'T notice it on an older cartoon it's because they perfectly offset the color saturation on the sheets to compensate for that effect ... I hadn't thought about that before

Hard to believe 3D Homer was seen by the world BEFORE Toy Story, and that Toon Boom shares some its history with the show.

I would kill to see you guys get some from The Venture Bros. ton interview. It's a cult classic that ran forever, and it's a master class in story telling and character design

@@OofHearted because I was there too and it wasn't *huge*. Very little about The Simpsons here was *huge* in the moment because it was being shown first on Sky, which not that many people had, so it always tended to be a slower burn here. Even the "Who Shot Mr Burns?" episodes that were big media events in the States didn't make much of a ripple here.

Iam so hyped for it, Portal is my favorite Game and now seeing that it gets a Short Film by corridor Crew itself is just amazing and mindblowing!! Cant wait to see it!!

This is an awesome episode. You guys should try to get how the sausage was made for "Invader Zim". It was one of the first animated shows to really embrace digital animation.

The overcharging for the subsequent subpar service. Exposed for selling private information of customers to third parties. Overall scum bags for creating their service purely for profit, which in the context of mental health, is super fucked up

The FTC says BetterHelp took health information from individuals during its intake questionnaire and sold it to advertisers, including Facebook, Snapchat, Criteo, and Pinterest, from 2017 to 2020." 2 - "In October 2018, BetterHelp gained attention from media personalities after concerns were raised about the alleged use of unfair pricing, poor experiences, paid reviews from actors, and terms of service that allegedly did not correspond with ads promoted by professional KZreadrs."

One of their worst offences was selling personal user data despite saying in their contract they wouldn't. They got sued for that, but to this day they use tons of manipulation practices and they have really bad therapists that don't even need to be certified.

As a kid I absolutely “tweaked” on the behind the scenes for ice age and monsters inc. I seriously think those two movies and the bts I obsessed over is what’s lead me right here 👍😅👍

I was messing around in the 3D software POVRay (a freeware Ray-Tracing program that had no GUI, but was line code driven and then rendered to see the results) back in the mid to early 90s and you could cheat soft phong shadowing by changing the surface to rubber or something similar. Ray tracing back then was all about phongs since there was no subsurface scattering. It was opacity, reflection, refraction and phong. With a more rubberized surface (compared to glass), the shadows could get soft.

I was also playing around with POVRay in those days...aiting for the render to complete only to see reflections on a non-reflective surface. I do not miss those days. Scenes that would have taken literally ALL DAY with POVRay can be created and rendered in blender in 30 minutes or less.

What a scoop! An absolute giant of animation, and he seemed really happy to share his experience of those early Simpson years (which he must get asked about *a lot*)

Love your channel! For your VFX reacts, Game Night (starring Jason Bateman and Rachel McAddams) has some great shots which appear to be done with miniatures and look fantastic. Plus it has a 'one shot' (which probably isn't a one shot).

its always to fun to hear these huge and influential creators come on the show and establish that they are fans of the show. you guys have the highest impact by far when coming to bringing recreations to these invisible artists. glory almost exclusively goes to directors and actors. but these guys are just as important and they get next to no spotlight.

A couple hours later someone contacts me and they say "Yes Jesus is saying yes he is your buddy" another time was I obsessing a little over this blue suit and someone prophecies "I see you in this blue suit" etc, another time I was testing this whole thing and I'm about to be prophecied over and I have my Google notes out I had tried writing out a little story and it was about a fire and forest being burnt down and I ask God to confirm if he wants me to write this and sort of as a test because everything had been scary accurate and the person right after says "God wants you to be his little stick lit ablaze with his love, it may not seem like much but one small flame can burn down a whole forest" 😂 another one was I had this. Surreal vision looking at stars, shortly after someone messages me saying Jesus is looking at a telescope with you saying to you "everything I have is yours even the stars" another one I was in the bathroom asking God for a message for my friend Moses in Nigeria and as I'm leaving the bathroom i freeze in place and go into this bizarre trance like Peter in the book of acts and I see my friend Moses as a child playing with a toy firetruck and Jesus sitting next to him with love, I quickly tell them and they are in shock as they had just thrown away that toy that same day, another time I had gotten a word from God about someone close to me who hadn't accepted Jesus and that they had been praying to God secretly, I told them that and the look on their face was priceless as I had no idea they had been praying to God at all, they were shook 😄 this is only a handful of many a 100 times in just the last 12 months after 5 years of me being born again, there's so many more amazing things that have happened but you are beautiful and desired of God, he is a gentleman and will not force you to choose him or love him but he loves so so much, he's asking you if you will come, he will love you and cherish you everyday of your life, he will never abandon you, I beg you to take a chance and not reject God's love for you, he wants to heal you and you to enjoy a living relationship between you, God bless you so much, Jesus says to come to him for rest your weary soul he is humble and meek and tender and gentle, he loves you so much he knows everything about you, nothing about you is unimportant to him 😭❤❤ If you repent and call on his name you will be saved from hell and Jesus's wrath and judgement for all have sinned!! ❤ For God so loved The World that gave his only begotten son that whoever should believe in him will not perish but have eternal life!! 💙🙌🏻 repent all have sinned and fallen short!!❤️‍🔥❤♥️ ❤️✝️❤️

David Silverman is such an amazing artist and important part of our leadership artistically at the Simpsons. We have been incredibly fortunate to have such a talented person who is so passionate about animation involved in the show from the very beginning. It is impossible to overestimate his contribution and the amount of the Simpsons' success that David is personally responsible for. He is also super fun to work with and at the same time holds all the artist to the very highest standards through his own commitment to excellence. I think that you can see a lot of that in this interview.

I was hoping to see some conversation on when Bart used a paint mixer to shake up Homer's beer can. When Homer opened it up it exploded into a nuclear mushroom cloud. Funniest thing I've ever seen. Like my ribs and stomach hurt from laughing so hard.

this sounds like the time I watched the last starfighter with a bunch of VFX artists. They hadn't seen it in forever and they were blown away by the things that they could do. Well I can't name names, they worked on movies like Independence Day, Spider-Man, and the Star Wars prequels

Damn, if Wren is that blown away by the 3D Simpsons episode, you guys should really check out Reboot from the year prior. As a Canadian, I grew up on this show and still love its weird aesthetic. I am blown away by how impressive the animations are, especially for 1994. The amount of models on screen at one point blows my mind and I am extremely curious how long it took them to render full episodes. There's a decent amount of behind-the-scenes too, so a lot of questions get answered, I just need to rewatch it.

Betterhelp ads are where I click away from videos. Too bad, I was truly enjoying this one.

It's weird how youtubers keep taking their money, even with their comment sections being filled with people who take _(righteous)_ offense to them. I'm aware that youtubing is hard these days but come on, you _gotta_ have some standards!

I'm not saying creators should scrutinize every single corporation that wants to partner with them, but sometimes sponsors are so blatantly misleading and full of malpractices that you just can't turn a blind eye to them.

The sponsorship was probably $X amount for Y video segments across a set period of time. Breaking the contract would get them sued so they’re not going to do that.

guys, you can get better sponsors then Better Help, they on some heavy controversy.

I’m so glad that you guys get to make a space for people like this to be seen by the world. I think it’s so important that we can document and learn about the people who helped shape our global culture. such an awesome episode thank you.

They both have long, dyed brown hair and grey facial hair, and sometimes wear hats, but other than that, I don't see a resemblance.

First time I’ve seen the voice actors! So cool. What amazing deep dive into the Simpsons.

As someone who has watched the Simpsons since childhood there will always be something special about the first 10 or so seasons. I definitely think around 25-32 were a bit of a slump but it really has been great in recent years. I still watch through every tree house of horror every october and watching the new one has been a special occasion for me for the past 15 years or so.

In the 90’s my mom worked at a college in northeastern PA. David Silverman gave a talk at the school and we got to have dinner with him. He was the nicest guy and he drew pictures of our favorite characters, autographed them, and gave them to us. Sadly my picture of Homer got destroyed in a move, but I’ll never forget that dinner.

John Hamm is a really talented actor. Dressed up as an industry leader in animation and had a technical conversation with Niko and Wren. What a versatile actor! Seriously tho John Hamm look alike jokes aside - I wonder if David Silverman got that a lot after the initial success of Mad Men. I totally love the chill vibe by Mr Silverman. So cool to see all the different personalities by all these industry leaders.
