As an autistic person, I hate fireworks. Loud noises with flashing lights and the weak smell of smoke is basically my ultimate weakness, as sensory overload happens severely in circumstances with that.

Fireworks are not my thing either. I have major ptsd because of a car accident years ago but loud noises and booms scare me ever since. But happy 4th 🎉

You can set off an entire gross of bottle rockets off at the same time but not with a bic lighter and yes you can put roman candles in with them you just need a torch

I remember when I was a kid like in the early 03 or something we would have fireworks wars… yes it’s dangerous and was it fun? Absolutely looking back at it as almost 30yr man… I would not let my own kid nor niece do that at all.

I’m the bob in my family. Mortars are my favorite but roman candles are solid. The premade shows are how we end.

Australia Day is still a public holiday and a day of partying for sure, not huge on Fireworks here though. I made that song with an AI music generator. I wrote the lyrics and chose the genre

Out of all my firework injury's a smoke bomb yes a smoke bomb is the most severe now it wasn't one of those little colored smoke bombs it was one of those big ass ones that the military use to find ya in the jungle, and yes I ignored the warning always had before but this particular smoke bomb had a finally I didn't know about it was a new firework how bad could it be, well 5 minutes of a smoke field then it explodes, well this ain't my first firework explosion in .y hand and it wouldn't be the last, but I have a multi colored burn mark to this day on my stomach cause that was the finally, and remember the same sparklers we do trust children with have magnisum in them that's only the main ingredient in thermite the other ingredient being iron oxide simple rust.

I hate the unpredictable intervals of fireworks. I wouldn't mind so much if it was regular and rhythmic. I wear ear protection for industrial work. People with sensory disabilities, veterans with PTSD, and animals fucking hate them, and they're fire hazards. And what a way to celebrate the US: further traumatize people who have given the functional part of their lives to this country.
