Watching this again after the 2024 Three Rivers Race. Missing Dylan’s tremendous films. I tipped regularly as they were well worth it. Bring back KTL🙏🏻

Still lots of messing going on at Granton, real shame the place should be heaving but its a mess. Same with Leith Port could have yachts all the way into leith walk..

Great films and series. East Cost has so much potential but not easy in a boat that cannot dry out well and the forth can turn on you so quick and make entry to a lot of the harbours nuts.. could put another 1000 berths across the east coast and wouldn't make a difference to the beauty and space

Those murmurations just took my breath away! Find ourselves jumping about watching your amazing video's Dylan, especially on slightly damp morning like these. They are popping up on my utube feed having watched a few and then we find ourselves totally captivated by them. I realise you are sadly not uploading or editing any films, which is a real shame. Are we able to make a modest donation still? Would like to show some appreciation and thanks for our enjoyment. Regards Ginny and David.

In another life I bought an ex Scottish trawler which was used as a harbour workboat at Rochester/Gillingham and drove it back to Kerry. A very interesting place, the Medway!

A lot of that floating scum you see at sea is actually the dead skins of plankton that float to the surface and are gathered into “rafts” by the wind and currents. It’s a bit like all the dust in a house, a lot of it comes from human skin which is constantly shedding itself to make space for the new growing skin! I have seen blocks of it at sea as big as cars, floating around like miniature icebergs!

Wow, you have just made a disparaging remark about a 2nd boat in my little fleet but I would like to re-assure you that I really do know what a peaceful place the sea can be and it is the reason for many of the complications I now face in my existence at present! We must have a chat!

By god Sam, he hadn't a clue the boat tapers ant the back because they used to come in stern fitst to be towed up beach, i am 79 now, and i used to go to Newton by the sea for 2cweeks every year so my Dad and Grandad could paint her house. As a kid i watched the fishermen launch off the beach or come in and tow the boat up the beach with a tractor, i like colour of your boat but blue red and white would be my choice.
