I nearly went sailing when it was brighter earlier, glad I didn't bother! It's looking good to maybe visit the Deben this Friday/Saturday. Lots of birds in the garden after the rain...worms a plenty!

Why else did I make a cover for my hatch? 😄. And for the winter I have a nice strong tarp one. And they both protect the varnish.

@@KeepTurningLeft I used butyl putty to reseal all my 'windows' hatch and deck fittings. Less messy in my hands.

With the amount of rain that fell today I’m not surprised

it has to be waterproof enough for the west coast of scotland - as things stand there is work to do. The windows have rubber strips in them - not even sure what they are for as the windows are drip free without the rubber.

Doesn't seem like we've had any rain in ages. Let's hope this doesn't last - It's been rather nice sleeping in a dry bed!
