Core Balance Training

Core Balance Training

100% Dedicated to healing lower back pain, Core Balance Training is a guided online program that uses core and posture training to help people get out of back pain.

Core Balance Training was founded in 2016 by Dr. Ryan Peebles, a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has committed over 20 years to better understanding and reversing the root causes of chronic lower back pain. After overcoming his personal struggles with back problems, Dr. Ryan now guides others to get out of pain.

The 12-week program can be completed by all ages and fitness levels. Because the solution focuses on education and movement retraining, the results of Core Balance Training are typically lifelong.

All content on the Core Balance Training Channel is provided for educational purposes only. Consult a healthcare professional before attempting any exercise you have seen on this channel. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of anything you've heard or seen in any of our content.

Thank you! Sounds like it would help me a lot. I have very weakened core, disc degeneration, stenosis, nerve pain and spondy . Would love to know more about this breathing technique. Can you elaborate for us? 🙏🏼

I have complex lumbarsacral dysfunction which includes much of this. I do get OMT by a NP who works under a neuromusculoskeletal DO. Does this still apply to my situtation?

I’m a huge supporter of the core balance training program, and I’m also a chiropractor. Well, there are some who force things, the same could be said for physical therapists. If you need to elevate yourself by cutting down another profession, as much as I have supported and recommended this program to my patience, This is just shitty marketing. There’s so many good chiropractors out there, we are so much more than back pain. And to find this story and use it is sous. So not cool. Not sure I’ll be recommending this program to other people, as much as I’ve supported it, that’s just a shitty and unprofessional maneuver

This video makes an absolute sense to me, I feel my back gets evenore fragile after using the pull up bar without embracing the core firmly. Do u recommend using SI joint belt while doing physical work? Or during biking?

How about headstand? Using my own body , hand stand as well. Shall I breath out and hold the breath to stable the core?

Having just spent the last 3 days unable to get out of bed and in so much pain again from this joint popping and feeling out of place this information is so helpful. All I did was sneeze! I think I damaged my right joint during labour with my second child as it's been bad since then. Bridges are on the plan from now on!

There is also the option to swim using a different technique that is the opposite of the usual ‘competitive’ based mindset. For example, Total Immersion Swimming’. This was created by the late Terry Laughlin.

how if my scoliosis is structural idiopathic ? can I still apply this exercise? my scoliosis is Stype thoracolumbar to the left, so my pelvis tend to be higher on the right side. But I tried using this movement on both side, I felt it's harder to lengthen the left because the right rib almost touching the pelvic, should I lengthen or stretch the right side?

My SI joint first hurt while I was pregnant 20 years ago! And later it hurt in 2018 while I was running (had been running half and full marathons for about a decade) and then it grew worse . Now I’m no longer running but I hurt myself really badly this time. Sometimes I think it never does go away but now this time I am going to try out what you’re recommending.

After 15+ years of back pain that I finally narrowed down to my SI joint, and then this year beginning to understand the relation to weak glute muscles, I am, at last, on the road to healing. I’m frustrated when I think of doctors who had no clue, a PT who referred me to a rheumatologist and how I ended up taking a year of shots for rheumatoid arthritis that I don’t have, and then exacerbating issues with 5-minute jolts of chiropractic care. Ultimately it took watching a LOT of videos, experimenting with and listening to my body, and finally finding an intuitive, highly skilled integrative massage therapist who listened to me and worked *with* me to figure this out. We also believe there is some involvement with the QL, but that does seem to be compensatory in nature and is much better than it used to be. I feel very lucky and know that I’ll get better, but sheesh…it’s been a long journey. This was a very informative video. It was useful to see the attachment of the glute max to the iliac crest, because that attachment can also be very tender if I ignore it. And all those ligaments! That’s kind of mind-blowing 😮 I also appreciated the analogy of the keystone. That helps to visualize not only the purpose of the sacrum, but also its crucial purpose in connecting and supporting the body.

I was one who had the surgery and I very humbly say-it worked. I have no pain. However- I use to jog-and circuit train to keep in shape. It’s been 6 years since surgery and due to wrong food choices and very little “hard/workouts” exercises -I have gained weight. I’m looking to restrengthen again. I use to enjoy circuit training. Now I’m kinda scared I’m going to “do the wrong move-and mess myself up!” I use to be in pain always at at least a 4, then shoot to 10 at least once a month-maintaining at 6. It would take 3-4 days to get down to a 6 from a 10. Once since then, while leaning forward to brush my dog, the next vertebra up slipped. It took 3 days to get back to “normal”. I was using a walker. All the videos you say “not” to do…HURT when I look at them!!! Some times “well meaning folk”-tell me to “push through”-I have a few curse words I don’t normally use that want to come out of me. This confirms and validates my own experiences, and people who “think” they are helping-could really be incapacitating people to their detriment.

Do you have a program for si joint dysfunction? Hypermobile as in si joint ligamentopathy. I have started doing some hip impingement stretches, mostly for internal rotation. The mcGill big 3. What do you think of mcgill and his view on back issues? I hear his book is good but unorganized and he doesnt address si joint, which is my chief complaint.

Idk what to do but it seems like taking pressure off of my lower back gives me some relief temporarily so I'm going to try your suggestions because I give up.
