Focusing on strengthening your core and NOT having a strategy to reverse muscle imbalance is not the solution to back pain. It will not give you relief from the issues you are facing.
Exercising in a wrong way can in fact CAUSE back pain! In this video, we will see how and when exercises worsen or help your back pain and the importance of how you approach the exercises.

Apologies in advance for the occasional skipping! We feel this video has an important message to give people, despite some issues with the original live stream recording. The team tried to cover the skipping as much as possible (hence more illustrations than normal) so we appreciate their effort. And we appreciate YOU for leaning into your health!

I am a Yoga teacher and when I started yoga I had back pain cause all my muscles were weak, but then the pain was gone. However, this summer I was in the class and tried Yoganideasana one legged variation (when you lie down on the floor and put your leg and ankle behind your head). My left leg is more flexible, so I forced myself to go deeper and I had pain after that for a week or so. And now from time I still have it 😢 In yoga most of standing poses you do first one side, then another and it’s been quite a while already. I will try your tips from the video for poses what to do to stabilize and strengthen, hope it helps

Hi Ryan! I have a spondy and it seems since it happened, I am developing a lot of pain, stiffness and swelling in my big toe and forefoot! Could this be connected? If so, what can I do about this? A video would be amazing!! You’ve helped me so much, thank you!!

I am in the same situation sir, i have a Herniated disc injury but that's not even the main problem because I don't have back pain from the herniation, problem is i have many muscle imbalances and weak core that my joints keep going backwards putting me in very poor posture from lumbar spine. I have done many exercises to fix mainly exercise laying flat on your back and streches but nothing helped

Hi Why if I buy your training program I Need to pay every month? You Need to give us a full lifetime access.

Their program includes tons of support and coaching for the students. There is no way they could provide that to everyone for a lifetime.

Sorry to be vague here but I’m a little confused with the cost of the program. The program is for 12 weeks so that’s 3 months does that mean we pay $99 per month for 3 months?

Hi Arinza, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! I'd be happy to help answer your questions. Yes, we are membership-based, and you will need an active membership to access the course materials and lessons. Dr. Ryan advocates for moving through the course at your own pace, and it is for this reason that we have implemented a monthly membership option to allow you all of the time you may need. The Core Balance Training program is a movement retraining course with the intention of helping you to retrain your body to move in a healthy way. You are not expected to continue all of the exercises for the rest of your life. The change is maintained by applying the core movement concepts you learned in the course to your daily life. The exercises are really just a means to an end. I also want to mention that Dr. Ryan, along with our Student Success Specialists, are inside the program daily, assisting anyone who needs it. We would be unable to provide our students with the level of attention and care we do if we provided lifetime access to our course. We have elected to embrace a time-based membership model that provides extra attention and care for our students because we want our students to succeed in their journey out of pain. I hope this helps clarify our approach! 😊

@@CoreBalanceI am in the subscription program and am moving along slowly at my own pace though I am concerned that, due to my advanced age, I will not be able to remember the basics once I finish the course. Is there something like a handbook or study outline available to help me remember? I am making a significant investment to improve my structural health and I am concerned that I won’t be able to sustain it. Thanks!
