If someone is interested, please check Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita (both considered highly authentic texts of Ayurveda). In Sushruta Samhita Chikitsa Sthana, please refer to the 29th chapter, which exclusively explains how to use "soma rasa" (the juice of the soma plant). If you go through those explanations of how to use it and the aftereffects, you will realize that it's not a drink that has no similarities with the other substances that have been described in this documentary, nor have any similarities mentioned by those experts. Now please don't argue that the soma described in the Rigveda and explained in those ayurvedic texts are different. You can find many mentionings in those books, particularly in that chapter.
