Hi everyone and welcome to my channel, I started the channel to share my passion and love for cars from fixing them to driving them. Mk4heaven mainly is based on the Vw Golf Gti Mk4 but there’s all sorts of various content to entertain any petrol head as I also have other cars.

@@Mk4heavenHD Mine is 6 speed, but only a little 1.9 TDi AJM 115 lol. I guess a 6 speed would still be approx 2 litres of fluid?

Change my latch on my mk3. Everything seems fine. Door opens and closes (from the outside ) but when I pulled the handle inside it would open at all.

i notice my handel or lock i can open from outside but not inside is it the same problem if i understood it correctly?
Some cars are different mine started not opening from outside but inside would work so it might be down to the actuator aswell mate. Then one day inside stopped and I was doomed lol..

Hello Boys, I know I am just a girl but let me help you out. Don't disconnect anything. Start the car. Press the settings. Press the parking brake down , and the Bluetooth icon should turn white. Then delete the extra entries.❤

Thanks for this. i had done all of the other “fixes”. Engaging the parking brake was the magic step.
It’s a really nice little mod and I used to have a set of those but but they just a waste of time because they keep failing! I brought another set of flow sequence size repeaters again, they have failed on the second pair! Unless I need to have a resistor to draw less current to stop from flowing sequence side repeaters from failing? I brought some smoked side repeaters and put LEDs in too!
Oh man that’s unlucky, I’ve had mine for a few years now and they still okay.

Im not sure mate, I’ve just double checked the listing description of where I bought it and all it says is “Designed for compatibility with petroleum”

Hi Bro I think it should work mate but not 💯 percent certain. I actually bought evo 9 enkei wheels just before I sold the car and never got chance to test this combo out.

Thanks mate, Yes according to both research and rtech, bar and plate is a better way to go especially on a daily driver due to the fact that they don’t heat soak as fast as a tube and fin type intercooler plus they much more robust if they are fully exposed in the front like my golf is.

Great video, very well explained and some useful tips! I’m currently installing the same pump on my car and I’m not 100% sure of the placement on the larger bottom O-Ring. I see you have placed yours in the groove, but I am seeing sources elsewhere that are saying to place it before the groove as it shouldn’t be blocking the holes. They claim that blocking these holes causes poor idling and damage to the pump?
Top tip……make sure your top plug will move before draining the oil. If it’s seized and you’ve drained the oil, you’re screwed! Got a quote from a local garage to change the gearbox oil. £100 labour, plus the oil!

Same engine as my A3 1.8T 150cv but automatic 01m, you engine is awesome with all these mods, big intercooler huh?all change all hoses and try to elaborate a project to put a radiator to cool the transmission oil down
Yes mate great 1.8T engine, thanks.. Yeah big intercooler, hybrid turbo, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump and reg etc.. It runs well with the current setup @ a very very reliable 293bhp with no issues for years now.
Thanks for the video. One of my fuses melted in the box and I had to clean it out and replace the fuse so that my fans would kick in. Could this possibly be the reason my aircon is not blowing cold? I heard you mention it was causing issues with your aircon.
You welcome mate, with your A/C you need to have a look at the compressor and see if it spins when the a/c is on if it doesn't it could be either the fuse in that box, or it needs to be recharged. Most likely your a/c needs recharging to engage the compressor and blow cold. Hope this helps.
@@Mk4heavenHD when you say recharge aircon do you mean regassed? I'll have a look and see if compressor spins when aircon is on. I remember my fans werent kicking on before I replaced the flty fuse. Thanks for your response. Greetings from Cape Town
That’s is a very common problem with them. I had the exact same in mine which I had to replace the alternator cable including the whole fusebox! I had to drive like that all the way back for 25 miles with battery not charging! When I got home and open the hood and i can smell something absolutely horrible!!! So glad I got mine done before anything happens or cause a fire!!

Hi mate 👋, easy to replace but very useful from my point of view. It is a very frequent issue on that generation of VW. Hope the cheap replacement piece has a good quality. Would be interested in the clock spring replacement when you will do it. Have a nice sunday 👍
Hi mate, yes very very common let’s hope the part holds up lol.. it’s been on there for 6months or so and touch wood all is good lol… I’m looking to do the clock spring in the summer, I actually bought one and it was the wrong one my car needs a different type of clock spring(typical) lol.. Sorry to say, but you replaced everything except what is causing the problem: the connectionshoe of the cable with the bold. This is what needs to be in top condition to minimise contact resistance.😅
Appreciate the feedback, On my car the original alternator cable was the problem mate and that’s what I needed to change it had gone green inside and burnt the copper stands causing the issue of the burnt fuse box with increasing the resistance. Since changing the alternator in 2018 for 4gauge ofc cable it hasn’t burnt or got hot again, the current burnt box is from the old cable not the 2018 cable . The new fuse box was the last thing to be changed and it’s been perfect since 🤞🏼
@@Mk4heavenHD if the cable was already green inside, than it was definitely needed to be changed 👍 I also have to replace (a part of) the cable leading to the fans in front, because it's losing some isolation and looks green.
I got the same switch, but i have a problem. When its dark and i turn key off, the switch light starts blinking and it doesnt go off on its own. Does someone know what to do
Even when the car is completely turned off without the key in the ignition?

@@huugo8278 Mine works well,but the app is a piece of trash. It doesn't work on most phones (I got it to work on my old barely working Samsung with a custom Android 6 ROM) and the sensitivity setting is completely broken

It’s called the race diagnostics liquid gauge. They stopped making them long time ago.
If anti freeze liquid comes into interior and my whole interior and windows are becoming greasy and wet, that means i need to change interior radiator or what?
Yes most likely your heater matrix is gone, the main area to notice this fluid would be either in the footwell or under the headunit area.
