Hey AJ I believe!?! I’ve just got my switch and I’m excited to install it but I have my headlights disassembled and doing something custom on them hoping to make the new switch work with them, there is something I’m missing from your otherwise great video is : what lights stay on when the car is running on auto during the day light? I hope I’m not confusing you 😊

Unit seems well made, as with the lights activated by unlock, opening the door does not cause the car to beep warning the lights have been left on. Seems to be the same for after engine has been switched off and key removed. I presume when the switch is set to sidelights or dipped beams and the door is opened that the car warning tone activates as normal?

yeah it seems to do the job, good question im yet to test the open door etc.

I have the exact same setup but only the sidelights come on? Hids angel eyes etc is there any reason you think?

Hi mate I think mine are 6000k.

does coming/leaving home works everytime ? because mine only sometimes light with unlocking and sometimes with locking.... idk

It will only come on when it’s dark not every-time due to the sensor activating it.

Does the new one feel good to the touch or does it show that it is a cheap piece? It's the only thing stopping me from buying it. If you can give me the link of the product you bought, I would really appreciate it. by the way very good video, I like how you explain

Hi mate, the new one feels okay not as nice and refined as the original VW. The HID on yours look like an 6000k or 8000k. I currently got the 8000k HID kit I have on my mk4 Golf with aftermarket projector lights!! They are a really nice colour!😊

I got the same switch, but i have a problem. When its dark and i turn key off, the switch light starts blinking and it doesnt go off on its own. Does someone know what to do

@@huugo8278 Mine works well,but the app is a piece of trash. It doesn't work on most phones (I got it to work on my old barely working Samsung with a custom Android 6 ROM) and the sensitivity setting is completely broken

I want one for my Mk4 Golf now!!!!😅😅
