@@originalguy4535 all depends really on if I'm going polishing or a maintenance wash. I like a solid prewash this time of year, citrus pre wash, bilt hamber touchless then a contact wash

For the video, yes. For the detailer, I wouldn't even touch some cars 🤢

​@@jdmguy44cz i got 1 in 2005, a 1998 mk4 golf tdi wth a ahf engine.. 2023, i still got it... thts how good it is... i would trade it for a 23 plate golf.... Thts y.... they run forever... wel ahead for its time, and still is 😂😂.. Av been thru cars over tht many years but the mk4 is another breed... try buyin 1, ull understand mate🎉🎉

I still think the mk4 has the best quality paintwork, and interiors. A lovely car when kept stock, and serviced correctly. Really nice to drive.

Great work, the car looks almost like new. Also, the Mk4 Golf is a timeless car. 24 years old but wouldn't have looked out of place if they released it 15 years ago.

Maybe mid 2000s if you are lucky, but you can tell it’s an older design compared to the newer golfs

I had a 1999 MK4 Jetta, it's hard to believe these cars are that old now. They've aged exceptionally well.

Have a 93 Subaru Impreza, another car that has aged like fine wine. Both cars still look great compared to newer cars in traffic today.

I much prefer these kinds of videos of everyday cars getting pampered, rather than super cars. Great work, you made it look better than new!

It’s clear the production value that’s gone into making these is incredibly high. My hat goes off to you - that’s an incredible job sir!!

My grandmother had one new in Reflex Silver, this took me straight back there, almost 20yrs ago. What a transformation, they're still nice looking cars today, they've aged well.

Another great one, I got out yesterday for a maintenance wash after getting the itch watching your videos. When I can't detail because of weather these are the next best thing.

I used to have a MKIV Golf, for many years in this same colour. I’ve owned BMWs for a long time since then, but this is still my favourite car and the one I hold closest to my heart. Absolutely beautiful! Always wanted the GTI but never ended up getting one.

This one is so satisfying to watch, well done man!

I have one, 2002 1.9 Tdi 130hp, what an amazing car. Amazing push from this "tiny" engine and stability (shame that the chassis is really weak). Design that never looks old and cheap spare parts.

That was the best engine VW ever made IMO. The "ASZ" PD130.

I have a 2004 VW Golf, have had it for 7 years, great little black beauty as I call it...

Hell, it´s like you´ve walked into a showroom back in ´99 and saw this car being displayed for the first time. Looks incredible. Nice job.

Had mine for 21 years. Flash Red cleaned up beautifully. Great job on this one. Make sure you remove the wheel arch liners from time to time and blast out the debris , of which there’ll be loads!

Crazy how it went from dark blue to a slightly light purple, loving it! Great job once again, I quite enjoy watching this, it's pretty satisfying and relaxing. I had one that color it’s called indigo blue pearl and imo it’s one of the most underrated colors for those cars

​@@rileykepler1393this looks like inkblue tho. Indigoblau perleffekt definitely has more of a purple sheen to it. Especially in direct sunlight

The last of the "proper" VW Golfs. MkV was totally different with electric power steering rather than hydraulic for instance - it didn't feel how a Golf should to drive. Mk4 are a lovely drive. Great video, thank you.

My 1.6 mk4 is also 24 years old...I've had it since 2012 and it's been very good to me

This looks identical to my own mark 4, same colour, 3 door and im guessing 14 inch wheels too, insane how well they both hold up all these years later

Golf iV still looks very cool and you made it look even better!

I'm always trying to hone in which chemicals and processes/methods to use, but was actually curious about length of time it takes you per vehicle roughly. For instance, how long did this VW in this video take from start to finish (accounting for recording the video as well). Thank you! P.S. MK 4 best Golf type ever:) It was a milestone back in the 90`s. Everybody wants a the new Golf with blue dash light inside. When i see this car get the same feeling like 24years ago, driving in a brand new one 110pk TDI (red i )

Will always love the MK4. I’ve been driving around in these as a passenger since I was 3 and more recently had my own MK4. Just traded it in for a Polo GTI. Was very sad to see it go. Currently driving a MK8 Golf whilst mine has a few bits looked at ❤

Golf Mk 4 have grown to super fine modern classic. I think the main reason that makes them such a cool modern classic is those curved lines. Rear end specialy.
