Excellent video. Does the check light bulb not come on on the dash because of the led light being low wattage on the bumper light and the reverse camera light?

Thanks mate, on my car no lights on the dash luckily and I’m not sure if it’s because the other light also has a transformer thing to cancel out the warning.

I think the wiring was getting hot because the camera was constantly running when you wired up to your 12v distribution. When you switched to using the reverse light for power (as well as trigger), the camera was only running when you were in reverse.

yes mate both trigger and power need to be on the reverse light.

Hi mate, wired my camera up today but it's not coming on automatically when I go into reverse, I have to manually switch to the camera view on the head unit 🤔 don't suppose you have any ideas why it would be doing this would you?

Hi mate, hmmmm okay. The only thing I would double check on is your settings on the HU itself and make sure you wire both the trigger and positive to your reverse light.

@@Mk4heavenHD I'll double check the wiring but I'm sure there was only 2 cables coming from the HU that plugged into the camera connections and then a positive and ground from the camera and 2 wires for the number plate light , does that sound like I'm missing a wire 🤔 it's a pioneer Sph da230dab if that's any help
