Just picked up a mk4 GTI 1.8T in black too with low miles but cosmetically needs some love... this channel has helped me with servicing... hoping to make mine sporty and clean like yours!

Hi mate thanks, after cleaning it I really appreciated how well looked after the car is considering I've had it 8 years, usually cars deteriorate the longer they in use lol. I cant wait to make the next video lol.

@@Mk4heavenHD Brother, let me ask you a question, I see that you also had an ep3 typer, I also used to have it with 1+ stage, but with a lot of problems in the gearbox, synchros,big oil consumption, etc., and for a year now I got a 20vt leon cupra and I'm overjoyed (we talked again in one of your wonderful videos) have you ever had such problems in the typer ??I am also thinking of getting a fn2 but I am afraid I will not go through the same Why I have heard that they have sensitive transmissions,what's your opinion mate?

@@DimoS... Hi Bro it seems we like the same cars lol. I’ve also had a Leon Cupra R 225, miss that car. As far as the ep3 mate they known for synchro issues that’s why many people had an LSD and carbon synchro upgrade to iron out the issue. I think it all depends on how hard the cars previous life has been because everyone that has a type r rips the nuts off them lol.. oil consumption on hondas is normal mate, I’ve got an 500bhp EK now and it drinks oil too.

@@Mk4heavenHD yeah buddy 20vt and k20 is bulletproof reliable engines and good looking cars too ...are there iron synchronized for k20? Handmade or brand? I did not know I thought only of synhrotech synchros are there any that are worse than oem honda(Maybe I did not understand something well because I am sending you a translation🤣) do you think it is worth it to get the fn2 and put lsd with iron/steel synchros? ...yees i saw your new car ok another level just scary mate!!! My mk4 Golf 1.9 tdi is in for full body respray he's gonna look amazing new lights all round he's already got new hybrid turbo and intercooler plus miltek exhaust oh + mapped 200hbp

Glad the mk4 is back buddy, black always looks great when it's clean. Been showing my hybrid turbo mk4 gti at a few shows recently, tatton Park vw show was great in August. Hope to see more golf videos again. Thanks

Hey man Love the car and the videos. It’s helped me a lot with doing mine up so thanks. Quick Q if you don’t mind, I’m running ko3s on an AMD tuning map stage one 210bhp with stock but since then I’ve added 2.5 inch turbo back with sports cat, oversize tip and CAI and airtec fmic, I really want to get to the 290bhp ish mark, is a BBT k280 all I need or do I need to update injectors / fueling as well. will def be going R tech for the stage 2 ! Any help you can give would be much appreciated !

Hi bro thanks for the kind words, right lets see what mods you have. K300 would be easier to get to 290 but k280 can also do the job. looking at you mods, You would need k280/k300 15psi uprated actuator, Ported exhaust manifold, 3" downpipe, BAM injectors, DW65v fuel pump, 4bar fuel pressure regulator and MR Nikki Gowers deadly map lol.. Obviously I would highly advise a Sachs vr6 clutch to take the power and stiffer engine mounts including dog bone to compliment the extra power as the 1.8t engine moves too much after going hybrid stage of tuning.

When you did the evap delete did you cap the feed pipe in the engine bay or vent it some how, I've been advised to keep it vented to stop it over pressurising the fuel tank. Only the inlet should be capped ??

Hi mate I capped the pipe then noticed the fuel tank holding too much pressure, since then I’ve put a one way valve so it vents. Yes only the inlet mate.

Trying to finish it by the end of the month. I'm doing everything on my own. Boost pipes, wiring of ECU etc. Small world hey. Pitty you're so far man.

ey bro, i have been following you like a year, i saw u mounted BBT 300 and ur car is AUM. How is it going? ure car is in 290bhp or something like that. I heard people who say an AUM cant keep those bhps. So, have you had problems? if so, what kind of them. Cheers m8, keep strong

Hi mate thanks for following, my car is running K280 mapped by rtech @293,9bhp. Aum can run 300bhp MAX no problem, the killer is torque. Keep the torque under 290ftlbs and you should be okay, my car still runs strong with no issues its been running this power for 5 years now.

@@marioaragones No worries man. All I say is the mapper will need to put a nice smooth map on the car not an aggressive torquey one and you should be okay.

Very very good question Mate.. I’ve been going back and forth on that thought the main thing that puts me off is sentimental aspect but even worse is that I’ve put over 9-10k in the car when things were a lot cheaper then today. I suppose it’s a case of I know I will never recoup my money unless I break it but I can’t do that lol.. If I’m made a good offer I think 🤔 I might let it go😬.. lol
