Hi mate 👋, don't tell me about those rubbish parts. I have changed them twice on the driver side. All of them, poor chinese quality. The best make of door locking mechanism that still last on my Seat Leon 20vt is Metzger.

Look under the carpet where the CCU is located, maybe it‘s floated because water coming in on the drivers side door or water coming in trough your Pollenfilter because a broken/missing plasticcover. CCU controls your central locking system, interior lights, memory seats and and and..
