Hi Marc, we got there too late in the afternoon for the internal tour. But it was still very cool. I think at the time there were only 2 turbines runningbout of 8

The break test after soldering is also very dependant on the soldering job because of how the solder creeps into the wire. How easy the solder creeps into a wire is dependent on a lot of factors. E.g. how fast you solder, how much heat you use, what kind of solder and or flux and even the number the number of conductors in a wire.

Hello Karl, Bravo and thank you for your videos, I managed to eliminate almost all use of the mouse on the simulation (encoder buttons, LCD, etc.), so cool! However, I have a problem that I can't solve: I want to display the Radio COM frequency on a 7-segment LED but not when starting FSX, only when the battery is activated. How can I make an Output only appear if another Output has a certain value ? In my case therefore, display the Ouput COM only if the Output BAT = 1 ! I tried in the precondition tab but it doesn't work. Thank you in advance for your help. Looking forward to reading you and instructing me or clarifying if my question is not clear... Best regards Serge from France

Fantastic tear down! It's easy to see why they cost so much. The amount of engineering and complexity is significant. I tore down my older RevSim TQ (i.e. CockpitForYou) and completely rebuilt it from almost the ground up. When I had it all apart I remember thinking "Oh man, what have I done?!" It's overwhelming, but bit by bit I brought it back to life. Like you, I'm fascinated by the different ingenuity used solve the same complex problems. Love the work you do and appreciate your contributions to the community!

Great video, enjoy the FSExpo. Definitely more fusion stuff. I find following some fusion360 guides on youtube difficult as they are often done on older versions and nothing is in the same place. I can do gears with spigots and that's all I need right for now basic throttles but so much more can be done. One aspect of 3D printing that makes me reluctant to progress is how slow the printing is. I only have an entry level ender 3v2 but had no idea how much faster the Bambu was.

You are an inspiration! I've watched this video a thousand times. Taught myself to solder this week, and now I'm learning to read electrical diagrams. My goal is to complete the second version. My question is, where does the 12v come from? I'm assuming an external supply and so my second question, can the same 12v supply everything, the wiring diagram has it on 2 different sources. Thank you so much!
