Hey Louis, thanks for the visit and comment. The old Aurora Thunder Jet slot cars, to me are the best there ever was! Let me ask you a question; have you considered getting back into slot car racing?? Recall how fun it was tuning up the chassis, hopping up the body, the smell of the oil, sanding the tires and racing them around your track?!?! Guess what, it's still a blast! Take care Louis, see ya!!

Woodland Scenics Shaper Sheet comes in rolls about 6 feet by 18 inches. It's stiff enough to hold it's shape, and you can paint and landscape directly onto it without using plaster. The result is what I'd call semi-permanent and even if you glue trees and bushes and grass onto it, you could still just pick it up and push it into a tote, or reshape it. Some details might fall off if you didn't spray scenic glue onto it, but no big deal. A step between grass mat and plaster clothed landscape you might say. Also, by not plastering it, you keep the landscape relatively soft so any high speed deslots would not mean cracked bodies. That was for the high speed guys.

Hi Jeff. Still watching your videos every week. Wish some of them were longer. Enjoy having coffee after dinner while watching. Was thinking of adding drivers to some model motoring mustangs. Did Aurora randomly put different colored drivers in the mustangs or did certain colored drivers go with certain colored cars ? Plan on doing some JL corvettes as well.
