Curios about magnarail , Sounds interesting I have seen it on faller layouts. Ive used a sleeve the slips tightly over a split post holding it together so you don't have to redrill it. Alumilite is great idea for repairs on severe damaged posts. Icecream truck came out nice. Thanks for video

Hey TD, I have used the screw post savers before as well. I think the reason I like the Alumilite is because it becomes part of the plastic and really sturdies-up the post itself. Take care TD, thanks for the visit!!

Take that whole chassis , minus the internals , and soak it for a couple minutes in tarn x . Then wash in soap and water to neutralize. Will look new .

Hey Jeffery, great tip, and I have used Tarn x before and it does a wonderful job. Now if the chassis has any verdigris (blue/green) corrosion, Basso out shines Tarn x. Tarn x doesn't seem to remove the verdigris whatsoever like Brasso does, try it out.

Hey William, great question. The Alumilite takes about 4-5 minutes to set up. After that you can sand it, drill it etc. Let me know if you have any other questions.

@@JeffRyan You get testors liquid glue. a small glass jar [old paint bottle works great] Then take chopped up pieces of the color body you're fixing. Drop them in the glue and let soak overnight until you get a 'Goopy' mix. Usually hardens overnight. Done right it can be a invisible repair and and can even be used to repair grinded wheel wells.
