Thanks for the info on the magnets. I noticed many videos back, where you put them on one of your cars but didn't go into lots of detail. Nice hop-up trick. Back in the early 90's I visited a guy who had a track in his basement. He club raced and pulled me aside to show me a hack he did with the oldest style t-jet Indy cars. He added a side ways mounted wing, side bars to protect the rear tires, bigger rear tires and maybe cut something but it looked like a outlaw sprint car. Cool look for sure. Thanks again.

Hey Mark, great recall, I have been having fun with the neodymium magnets for years. One of my first uses of them was on a Slimline chassis that the Munster Coach is on. They seem to make a big difference. Regarding the hack on the Indy car...I'd have loved to see pictures of it, sounds awesome!!

Jeff ! how in the world did I miss this one. I need to slow down my actual life and return to my world of small cars ! I have a couple tiny little sport car customs with slim line chassis, not to mention the two f-1 cars. Slim Lines have never had a great reputation as great runners. The "tiny magnet" thing should be fun to try. Keep up the excellent work my friend.

Hey Hick, with the Slimline chassis, always check the crown gear to see if it’s turning freely. The neodymium magnets have really made a huge difference with all of my Slimline chassis. Let me know how they work out for you, see ya Hick!!

Just think if you balance the magnets that are in your tjet then ad the neo's to it ... good find on the hot rod and your right they never made a cream color

Hey Roy, balancing the Thunder Jet magnets and adding the neodymiums on a chassis would create a very even spinning, very fast motor, right?! Regarding the Hot Rod turned Super Modified, right away I suspected it was one of my old projects. Did my research and turns out it was indeed one of mine, kind of a fun find!

Hey Jeff, great tip on the magnets. I would have never thought they would make that much of a difference but you proved that they can. Can you provide a link or the ebay seller so we can get some? Also, with a main track that large you should research into adding a tap on the far side. If you have another terminal track you can replace a straight and just add wiring to it. Just make sure that the terminals are on the outside like your main straight is and tjen you can wore 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, and 4-4. You’ll benefit by better power all the way around the track. Keep up the cool videos!

Hey Steve, the magnets are really fun, you have to get some, here's the link I used: www.ebay.com/itm/256430033427?itmmeta=01HRKRXQNJ7QXPMZAHKRXJV71N&hash=item3bb46bca13:g:IakAAOSwb5xiIxRt&itmprp=enc%3AAQAIAAABIDday7ieks9YCQZ25X8k4BzxglsmtYBNwJJOBS9l%2BTIP1%2F3xdH7U%2FsjxLHt0d%2FrcqUX2ENlJbzPbDEnuA4gTwKD8h%2FGbtC7cjr9JL6qld7VryibYnAeCE02HzOWjuoSDxDEY01fGDcuPomOgdcylUynTQaChTD7bEjWMDIMk6bcuDLhsoROYxiR%2B4qVRvFq4pPNBfllUHSpQU9ckoFTfiBLgGyQstATBWdTJiG6OS7k%2BeQEOcjNmWYlIM69YvS1wC1P8tIEwN83vCB9fv%2FJ7RtB9rlo6QujZsI9Io4YWxqCnRpV3VtFKK2kVZhJsLMowtyK4cuMeiiXtQM%2BOOFm8SKo8qVVVXvHNyCitaDKfk7IvH69G9oTC6XxqFEYDlmiuvQ%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_j69vjEYw Regarding the addition of a Tap Track, it may not be easily seen, but I do have on at the far end of my layout, pro tip though, thank you! Take care Steve, see ya!

Hey Steve, the neodymium magnets that I bought from eBay were 1mm x 3mm. Other sizes will work depending on the room you have on the chassis.
