Master John Wu
57 years old in Taiwan. Started practicing marital arts since I was 12, have mastered Qigong, Bajiquan , Xing Yi Quan, Bagua Palm, and Tai Chi. Under the tutelage of master Chen Yuanlai, I learned Dan Dao qigong , Bajiquan, Xing Yi Quan, and Bagua Palm. I learned the complete authentic Yang and Chen style Tai Chi from master Lee Chang. Master Lee Chang was both the disciple of Yang Chengfu, the third generation master of Yang Style Tai Chi, and the ninth generation master Chen Fake of Chen Style Tai Chi. Tai Chi Master Lee Chang completely inherited and learned the real essence of Tai Chi. Both of my two masters are veterans of martial arts who retreated from mainland China to Taiwan with the Nationalist Government. The “kung fu” they inherited was the orthodox kung fu methods before the end of the Qing Dynasty.

‘Internal power qi’ is a body ‘imaginary’: a way of envisioning the interior of the body so one has a better phenomenological mapping of the body so it can engage in kinnectic chaining. In this sense, it is very real.

"Meat" and "Bone" body separation and understanding. In Yang I practice we do both separately starting with bone or skeletal body then the bones are "dissolved" when training the "meat" body. The bone body is like yoga with open joints and stretched skeleton and the meat body is like pressure hydraulics. Both follow taiji harmonies and principles but use entirely different engines and rotation points. Later they are integrated to be part of the yang form understanding where bone is passive receiving yin and the meat is the active following the Yi balanced in harmony.

Tai Chi is NOT for shallow people. It is for people who take their body seriously. It is for discerning people. It is for people who are ready to put it AN EFFORT to learn and practice hard. If that is done the benefits of Tai Chi is unbelievable unbelievable. You have to experience to believe it! Tai Chi classes by Master John Wu. Tai

What a lot of people refuse to believe no matter how many times you tell them is that all of this is 100% scientific, there is nothing mystical about it. A lot of Western grapplers use the same technique without realizing it.

This can be practised every day for general health. My normal heart rate even at age 8 years of age was 88. Now at age 61 my heart rate is 80 after just two weeks of Tai Chi. Taught by Tai Chi Master John Wu.

The more you practice the easier it becomes to concentrate the Chi five fingers under the umbilicus. But as you practice it becomes easier. First your legs will be strained. Your backbone will curve. Your head will be low. But please practice practice practice. 3 weeks of practice at 61 years of age, I am better. This is how thorough Master John Wu's Tai Chi training is.
