    sorry if this was mentioned in the video and i missed it, but i wanted to ask, does this library do good in fast passages? specifically for runs and things like that

  • @AlonsoComposer
    @AlonsoComposer4 күн бұрын

    It's not designed to do runs, it can do some faster stuff such as repeated tremolos layered with legatos (as shown in this video) but no runs. For runs I'd get a dedicated library as pre-recorded runs always sound better. Cheers!

    As an owner of this library i agree with your statements. I'd be interested if this video had negative impact on your career indeed, as you have been worried in the end of the video? I hope that making a accurate and transparent review of a library is not met with negative consequences :/

    Loved watching this stream! Keep it up man! I just don't understand how you can layer so much stuff and it doesn't get muddy😭Any tips when it comes to adding many layers and avoid getting your track muddy? Is there some secret sauce to that or is it really just making sure everything has its space in the spectrum by making sure that not too many tracks/instruments play the same exact key in the same range?

    @DJLA are you using this on the instrument track itself or on an Aux/Send with the Source at 0 or muted?

  • @DJLA
    @DJLA28 күн бұрын

    I tend to load things as inserts, that way you can blend the dry signal in and out much better. Heavy on resources that way but that's how I tend to go!

  • @michaellaumusic
    @michaellaumusic28 күн бұрын

    Ok. So then how do you deal with the source level? Do you have it muted or at 0 in Berlin? Per your demo you show it actually adjusts how the reverb behaves depending on how much source you have. Make sense? Or do you have source in and it also lets up form the main track.

  • @michaellaumusic
    @michaellaumusic29 күн бұрын

    This demo is great. We need more in-depth contextual tutorial/examples of Berlin Studio. Love it, but still struggling making it work the way I want to. I'm not an audio engineer, so the more examples in context the better for all of us.

    So as i understand it it's a VST that can run in any DAW right? Would you put it on the Master? What happens with Audio that you don't use / it loops? Does ist just delete it or do i manually have to "clean up" to not fill up my drive?
