Sketching EPIC Hybrid Music - [Live Stream]
Музыка
In this video I spontaniously wrote some Epic Hybrid music after being struck by a muse whilst demonstrating a Cajon patch for my live chat. When inspiration hits, ride it to the shore! -- Watch live at / hybridtwo

Although I'm not a music composer/producer, and regardless of the genre, I find it incredibly fascinating to watch the creative process of composers/producers, delving into their thoughts and intentions. As a fan of epic orchestral/cinematic music, watching the process of creating a rough draft, as demonstrated by Daniel James, was a delight.
I really feel like these types of sessions are so helpful you do Daniel. Growing up I always wanted to be a composer but suffered a stroke at a young age and lost feeling in my hand so I could never have the dexterity to play an instrument. I tried doing what you do about 12 years ago and it was a constant headache trying to get stuff to work bc of bugs and compatibility issues. I finally gave up. Now, after such a long break I still really want to create music and I feel like your channel is one of the most inspiring and educational ones I've found. It's like I get to hang out with a friend and watch them work and I appreciate you letting us into your life to explore your musical ideas. I really like where this one is headed. I'm sure it will end up awesome. Thanks for sharing.
As someone who I assume is quite young for this industry and is very new to composing, I have to say of all the channels I've stumbled across, yours is by far the most inspiring and educstional. You've never failed to restore my inspiration. Much love and respect.

That’s exactly what I think. I feel super lucky to have found DJ. Just watching someone do this kind of thing from scratch has taught me a lot of how to apply knowledge practically..

You make composing music look so easy! I look up to you sir James
More convenient to watch you, Daniel, on KZread. Love your energy and laugh and the way you put that energy in to your music. You are the Best !! Lev
Thanks for uploading this one! Never got to finish it on Twitch Glad I finished it. That discussion at the end was really eye opening. Always inspiring to hear someone who’s confident in their ability. Especially since you know that those old videos do exist, but you don’t delete them or anything because you know it’s a valuable resource for people to follow your career. Thanks a lot for this stream. Really insightful, and really inspiring to hear your humility above all else.
we need to see more of you. great stream. thank you
Thx fpr sharing Daniel. Always a nice musical moment! ^^
You always give me a good laugh watching you compose. Great energy when you're in the zone. 'Why soo spicy??"😂😂
Inspiring as always!
Haha I laughed when you showed the video of the violinist looking perplexed when viewing your score. Great video Daniel I learn a lot from these sketching sessions.
no matter what he produces, it always sounds brilliant. Maestro! 🙂
Really good and inspirational 🙏🙏🦄
Great video as always. Cheers!
Great stuff!

I think seeing his thinking process and also how he tries things out is quite important for the aspriring composer. I wouldn't even know how you could cut things out of that.

How do you write so epic so fast? You are greatly talented, aspiring to be you haha
thanks for the stream. where can i listen to this track already mixed and mastered?
I would love someday if you could do a stream about how to write like different composers. Example Hans zimmer
Daniel, the staccato strings sound phenomenal. Which library is this?
Your key editor opens up extremely fast; do you use open/close editor with a key command, or do you just double click? Or do you use the mac internal switch between windows?
Any chance I can hear it on soundcloud ? I need to hear the track.
what is the instrument you are using near the end of the song about 3:35:00 I like the tone of it? I can't tell if it's a solo cello or violin?

I assume you're regarding to the Instrument playing the Melody? Without watching the whole video i'd say that's most likely a cello.
guys, does anyone know the hardware features of Daniel's computer?
Whats the choir library

The loud choir is Oceania by Performance Samples.
I expect royalties😂😂
epic? ... it is as if before and after the operas there had been no music ... they are eating 5000 years of sound inventions outside of operas or epic events ??? .... there is no other way to justify musical creation? ..... and I said creation! .. any freedom ??
