I love this Lived story and the beautiful painting Jenedy painted. What a gift she has given us. Through it she has given us the vision to see ourselves as both the sparrow and the saving hands. She addresses the question that is so often asked, "why me" or "why did this have to happened to my loved one." She helps us to truly see that God loves us and is in the details of our lives and helping us to become.

I agree with this. I love the gospel, but I'm not a fan of church culture, especially the judgmental stuff going on. In my personal experience, it's more of an issue in Idaho/Utah. I served my mission in NYC, and members were much more accepting of people from all kinds of different backgrounds and cultures. We could bring someone to sacrament meeting who had tattoos and smelled like marijuana, and we never had to worry about people staring or shielding their children's eyes. Can't say the same about members where I grew up. I don't want to imply that members in Idaho/Utah ought to be ashamed, as most probably aren't like that. But the truth is that they tend to be more conservative and slower to accept people who don't fit into tradition.

The Book of Morman is a Holy Book written and preserved through time By Holy Spirit. It a great companion book to the Holy Bible but can be relied on MORE THAN THE Holy BIBLE. Because there were men who translated and added and took away Important scriptural passages to make it fit their beliefs. The Book of Morman is pure scriptures preserved For modern time fulfilment and preserved by men who translated by Holy Spirit. It reliable, trustworthy and faithful soan in last days serve the Heavenly Father in Spirit and Truth and a guide for mankind.

I am in England, I am currently reading BOM and my friend that is sending me a Journal edition of BOM, I have never been overly religious but i do feel so very clsoe to LDS, I am also a gay guy, recently life has been a literal rollercoaster just as detailed in this video. This video really detailed me, and spoke to me too. I am not sure I am fully understanding when I am reading my copy of BOM but my friend said that she will help and also that one rereads the book also. I feel so at home here. This video is so very kind and I really cannot tell you enough how warm with love I feel with my studies and reading, even the parts I do not yet understand. Thank you and Love from UK x

1 Nephi 1:20 "But behold, I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith... " Also D&C 121 "Behold, there are many called, but few are chosen. And why are they not chosen? 35 Because their hearts are set so much upon the things of this world, and aspire to the honors of men, that they do not learn this one lesson- 36 That the rights of the priesthood are inseparably connected with the powers of heaven, and that the powers of heaven cannot be controlled nor handled only upon the principles of righteousness. " Gotta have Faith and have your heart in the right place. Good news is that He'll work with you with a principle like a " stepping stone". "What if personal revelation *could* work like a Q&A with the Lord, like the format in D&C 77?", you try it and find that it works (sure, you get chewed out a lot, but yore learning), then you go from there.

I believe in Jesus Christ. I have tried and tried to overcome my sins. I tell Christ that I love Him, but I eventually I always give into sin. There is something deep inside of me that is broken. I can't keep going. I loath myself. I want to just be done. I am not very good at this life.

@michaelmontes9135, thanks for your comment and for giving us an opportunity to clarify our beliefs about grace. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe in the gift of grace. We have profound awe and gratitude for the eternal sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and we believe it is through the Savior's Atonement that salvation is brought to all who believe on His name. We walk the path of discipleship, obeying God and keeping His commandments, because of our love and gratitude for the Savior.
