Finding Help in Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ, because of His infinite and eternal sacrifice, has perfect empathy . Elder David A. Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles shares his testimony of the empathy and mercy extended through His sacrifice.
The Savior said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” Making and keeping sacred covenants yokes us to and with the Lord Jesus Christ. In essence, the Savior is beckoning us to rely upon and pull together with Him, even though our best efforts are not equal to and cannot be compared with His. As we trust in and pull our load with Him during the journey of mortality, truly His yoke is easy and His burden is light. We are not and never need be alone. We can press forward in our daily lives with heavenly help. Through the Savior’s Atonement we can receive capacity and “strength beyond [our] own” It is one thing to know that Jesus Christ came to the earth to die for us. But we also need to appreciate that the Lord desires, through His Atonement and by the power of the Holy Ghost, to enliven us. There is no physical pain, no spiritual wound, no anguish of soul or heartache, no infirmity or weakness you or I ever confront in mortality that the Savior did not experience first. In a moment of weakness we may cry out, “No one knows what it is like. No one understands.” But the Son of God perfectly knows and understands, for He has felt and borne our individual burdens. And because of His infinite and eternal sacrifice (see Alma 34:14), He has perfect empathy and can extend to us His arm of mercy and help us to do that which we could never do relying only upon our own power. Indeed, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. #BecauseofHim

Certainly the more I learn of Him the more I understand why me and others go through some of the things that happen. As I learn about Christ I find many of my burdens much easier to bare as I know that my mistakes and my death are not the end. His yoke is easy and his burden is light.
This is true. God loves us & we can receive capacity & strength beyond our own through the power of Jesus Christ. God is so good. He loves us so much & wants what’s best for us. He sees what we cannot & has a divine plan to help us that goes beyond this moment & spans into the eternities. If anyone is struggling, go to God in prayer. He will always hear you & He will always love you.

This video makes me realize I've been viewing Easter too commercially. I've been viewing the Savior's Resurrection as just another holiday event to celebrate. This is where the rubber meets the road. Jesus Christ lives, he is intimately involved in our lives, he cares. That is what I believe.

Amen!🙏🏻 with Fibromyalgia my life is a daily struggle and there are times especially lately that I have felt so overwhelmed. However, I know the Lord is with me and grants me strength when I am weak. And even when I can’t feel His strength, I feel His love and know His heart is breaking along with mine. ❤

Out of the millions of different scenarios that could have possibly been our reality here on earth, I have no idea how we ended up with a uncorruptable,benevolent and kind God. I can never speak enough of how grateful I am for the marvellous, miraculous Atonement of Jesus Christ and the blessings that flow from it. For me, the greatest thing is His mercy. We sin unavoidably, but He still reaches down to us when we turn to Him to lift us up and help us to start again.
Jesus Christ suffered and died for our sins we need to see his sufferings for us we should repent for our sins and ask forgiveness from God the heavenly father and serve one another and bring more souls unto him in this Easter season we need to think of Jesus Christ suffering pray always attend the church meetings on Sunday day spend one day for God.

The Savior invites us to rely on Him and pull together with Him. As we make and keep sacred covenants, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Through His Atonement, we receive strength beyond our own. He perfectly understands our pains and burdens, for He has felt them first. His infinite sacrifice allows Him to extend perfect empathy and mercy, enabling us to do what we could never do alone.
