Izzy, if you see this comment would you please reply. I am at the cusp at starting my video. I am a renal transplant survivor. I have fought very hard and won the battle with diabetes and lost 66 lbs and got back in shape. I want to share my story on my channel. What suggestion would you have for me about memorising my script. What's the best way to do that in your opinion?

I'm interested in your saying ``koan mediation''. Maybe it is the same as zazen-kufu (坐禅工夫) in Japanese. Did you enjoy the famous koan: ``do dogs have buddha-nature?''

Thanks Izzy. This was a great breakdown of the structure and the suggestion of learning frequent words first. Can you do some practical lessons putting frequent words into context with phrases?

For me, its pomodoro, set work hours and having a day or two off were the things that helped with burnout :DD ofc, you need to find what duration of the pomodoro will work for you but for me, i usually study for 50 minutes, break for 10, and then switch tasks after two sessions (because i tend to get bored if i study the same thing any longer than that). its completely a coincidence I think that after every two hours, I would have to take a (roughly) half hour break (lunch, prayers, commute, etc). on top of that, i also only study for 5 days a week - i set aside one day for rest and creative work (if i want to), and another day just to reorient, reorganize, and clean up my task lists to make sure that I'm not missing out on anything (this also happens to be the day where i catch up on emails, editing stuff, posting to socials, etc etc). having the 5 days a week work week on top of the two hours per task work flow has helped me push myself to stay focused on my task because i /know/ i dont have enough time in the day and want to set time to relax during the weekend. ON TOP of that, i really only study from like 10am-ish until 8-pm-ish (if theres a need to, i'll study up until 10 pm but no more than that). i've been doing it this way for almost 10 years now and havent had burnout in that time :D which is nice :DD

for Japanese Chinese is the hardest. If someone wants to proclaim “I mastered a language” Chinese is still the one of hardest all over the world even for natives. Korean and Japanese are very similar unlike our relationship

It's an arrogance to suggest that you can teach someone to speak with a British accent when no such thing exists. You're speaking with a refined English accent. British and English are not the same.

Since long back BBC has employed non RP speakers on microphones, which is funny, wired, against common sense ( is it still British BC?) and uncomfortable to me. Shocking n disappointing! political correctness has f ‘ kn gone too far n been everywhere, which is sickening. BBC is no longer the source of authentic and standard English that global English language leaders turn to learn. Where else?

Thank you so much for this video, Izzy! I've been following you for a year, and your productivity videos have truly changed my life. They've taught me how to stick to good habits, even if I can only practice them for a shorter time than I'd like. I love your voice, accent, and the valuable insights you always share in your professionally made videos. Your positive attitude towards life and work is incredibly inspiring. I'm so grateful for you and your KZread channel. You're changing lives and inspiring thousands of people, including me. Over ten years ago, I wanted to start a KZread channel to teach English, but I never had the courage. As the years went by and more creators popped up, I felt my content could never measure up and gave up on the idea. But your video might be the push I needed to finally get started! Thank you, Izzy, for the love, positive energy, and inspiration you send out into the world. Wishing you continued success in your channel and career, and sending you love and gratitude. 🥰

Japanese is hardest in terms of writing as you need to know three types of writing.
