    Happy to see this video.. I’m contemplating getting the XT 250 and won’t ever take it on the 400 series highways but was wondering for the same reason how it would do for the M2 exit test, as I’ll have to do it on the 403 in Hamilton. Happy to see you at least got 109km/h. What’s your body weight ? Just wondering if I’ll get a similar top speed. Thanks ! 💪🏽 🏍️

    The time spent on the 403 would be minimal, I did fine. The examiner understands this, basically they want you to see the entry and exit from the highway and proper lane change for passing... You don't need to actually pass anyone, just do the demo.... you be fine, one other person had a klx220 I think... they were fine also.... I was concerned also but having done it.. no worries...

    @@kd_enterprise3404 I know this is a 1 year old vid but I couldn't help but wonder if in Canada you have to do this for your license? Boy I guess I just take for granted that down here in the good ol' USA that a license is just a simple matter of driving through a few cones and a simple written test and off you go to do whatever you want with whatever bike you want! I'm getting a xt250 just to ride the trails in CO. wont be riding on any expressways.

  • @kd_enterprise3404

    @dougupah8778 things were simple at one time as in the USA BUT... now basically if you don't take the course as say a beginner.. you can't buy nor license a bike.. unless you have about 5000 a year for insurance. The second course is not mandatory and you can just go take the riding exam.. But it cost money each time... if u take the course you will pass and then u can get reasonable insurance.. mine in 417 for this year..

    Varnish on wooden tool is usually done due to import export rules saying you have to have a hard coat to keep bugs out of the wood. Linseed oil will rehydrate the wood way better and provide a better grip when your hands are sweaty.

    With mower OFF, engage cutter, go under and see if the blade will spin by hand... if it spins its not properly engaged or a belt issue.

  • @roypaulcarter4654
    @roypaulcarter465425 күн бұрын

    You might try raw linseed oil next time. The reason you may decide not to use any type of varnish is because when your hands sweat from doing hard work varnish can cause your tool to become slippery and you may lose control of it. You do not have this problem with linseed oil. Plus it is way better for preserving the wood. This is a teaching from those who deal with wooden weapons. God bless.

    Just a note about the updated kit(s). Now, rather that the pipe-piercing fitting that goes onto the copper pipe, they now have a fitting, where, you unscrew the flex pipe that goes to the cold water tap and screw their fitting onto the pipe fitting. This would be on top of the shutoff valve so that you will shut off the water for both filter and cold water. Then, you put the cold water flex pipe onto that and then use the fittings for the plastic piping that goes to the filter. I saw this in the kit I bought today, but I didn't like that it's made of nylong. So I spent a little more and bought brass fittings to replace that. Hope that helps.
