I thought about getting the same throttle assist device last year, but I don't usually go for long, straight rides (yet). Maybe a future purchase. Thanks for the review. By the way, the smoke made it all the way down here to Cincinnati. Hazy yesterday and very hazy today.

Thanks for the comment, hopefully the smoke will clear up soon…

My street bike came with both of those features, and I've enjoyed them both. Maybe someday I'll add them to the XT250. Meantime, really interested in that tach reader you've installed plus the two on/off switches in the middle of your handlebar. I'll check your video collection to see if you discuss those. Thanks for sharing.

It’s a good add on if used properly, especially if you have hand issues… throttle lock for long stretches is great for me…

I had used the throttle lock before a couple times but felt it too sketchy to rely on and a distraction if an emergency maneuver was needed. Never heard of that throttle assist! I think ill give it a try. Ive started doing some longer rides and im welcome to more hand comfort. Enjoyed the comical interludes too eh 😂 BTW I have a brown tinted parrbellum windshield im selling. i took off because of wind noise from it due to my height

Yes, have to be very careful with throttle lock, I only use on basically straight sections, low or no traffic….anytime I approach intersections or on curvy roads or before entering areas that require a speed change I turn it completely off. Mixed feelings on the windscreen also, more so due to how hot it is in the summer, need the airflow… Would be nice in cool weather…

I ordered the throttle lock and interested to see how it works.

Your GPS is only 5-6% off, mine is 10% off... is that a 16 front sprocket or just tire change?

Good catch, i recently changed to a 16, Mine was also 8-10% off depending on speed…so far happy with it… I do up an install video soon. Thanks Peter.
