  This song about smelling death coming. If you listen to the lyrics, it’s talking about not doing drugs because it’s only gonna bring death. Just so happens for Lynyrd Skynyrd that smell of death was the plane crash that was coming. This is the last thing they released as a single before the crash.

  You said it right. Where does it go? It seems like only yesterday I heard their music for the first time. I don’t want the party to end. We don’t think about it when we hear a rock band got the first time, when they first come out and they are legendary like this but eventually it must end someday. We have the music forever and the spirit but the days like in this video the live performance, anticipation of what’s coming out next is over. And that’s how it was. You waited to see what was coming out next. Every 9-20 months a new album a new tour. They would debut a new song while on your for the last album. It was crazy. Great reaction to this gem of a performance. 👍
