Over 40 years ago I discovered this song sitting in my bedroom in 1981 at 11 years old. I reacted pretty much the same way you did. Black Sabbath wa an "old" band even then! I became a Metalhead before metal fans even had that moniker. Sabbath played a huge role in the makings of a 53 year old man who has been to over 300 concerts, spent well over $100K on music, and dedicated my life to the love of Metal. Now that I'm retired I grew my hair out and I wear nothing but tour shirts everyday. The best thing is that I overheard a conversation when i was about 13 hearing my mom say to my dad, "It's just a phase dear, he'll get over it!". No more wrong has she ever been.
Great song, great reaction. Have you seen them live other than The End vid? Go back to the beginning with War Pigs, live 1970 in Paris. Your head will explode and you'll see why they are the Godfathers of heavy metal!! ✌🏼❤

Hello, I really love seeing people enjoying Black Sabbath. If you liked this one, you'll really like Hand of Doom. It's about a war veteran who can't get it out of it mind and starts shooting up and all that entails. It's best if played with Rat Salad, it's a continuation and a drum solo.

Try "black sabbath" from Worcester '83 with Gillan on vocals. That is the best version ever despite he was with BS only for a record and a tour.
