Every new song you hear from them will be the best one you've ever heard. It's the gift and the curse
I guess I will be the one to explain the lyrics. Maynard loves his double entendres, while it is called Stinkfist which is a nickname of a “sexual” act it’s actually about letting ourselves become desensitized and numb to vices. It’s not talking down to having bad habits but to not let it get to the point where you need more. This will lead to addiction where you need more and more to the extremes. They use the graphic depiction of “Stinkfist” as an example. Finger Deep to Knuckle Deep to Elbow deep to finally the impossible shoulder deep. Don’t let your wants and needs control you!

I started listening to this song young enough that I understood the philosophy in the writing before I knew it had anything to do with sex. Lol
Also- greatest double entendre ever written: “Relax Turn around and Take my hand”

Great reaction video, your reactions r very genuine and reminds me when i listen 2 tool.
If you like this style of tool song, consider putting Jambi on the list. That song has one of the best bass drops, but is starting to get a little bit more into the odd time signature stuff that Tool is so well known for. Spiral out!

I get the sexual reference but it's really just about how we have become desensitized to atrocious behavior
