Now you should react to album cut off 1984 for comparison. I always look forward to Van Halen recations.

Nice "Feel Your Love" verse intro...now learn the lead...(It's one of Ed's easier leads). The fill after the chorus with the bends followed by pull-offs is a fun riff. Never heard this! Love the aggression. King Edward is indeed the G O A T.

That’s Gene Simmons from Kiss saying “Pain”. He produced these demons/demos There’s like 30 songs on there, Eddie wrote the majority of their Roth era material by the time he was 19.

I'm a big Van Halen fan, and this is my favorite song by them. There are actually about 4-5 versions of this song out there that can be found on KZread: 1984 album version, this Zero demo version, there's another that is exactly the same but the car horns in the chorus and at the end have been removed, and then I think there is one more version similar to this but I think the lyrics are slightly different. Ed's best writing came between 1975 and 1983, IMO. So many of their songs were written back in their club days that later made it onto albums, and you have a song like Right Now that was written back in 1983 according to video where Ed is showing Kurt Loder 5150 Studios.

Imagine hearing Eddie when Van Halen first came out when nobody had ever heard anything remotely like his playing the first song on the first album is RWD then eruption it almost made me quit playing I was 18 in 78 and heard Van Halen right when they first came out, I haven't gotten over ot yet and probably never will, glad to see young people that know when something is good when they hear it, in Van Halens Case exceptionally good, or as I like to say scary good.

Michael Anthony is the best backing singer in rock history.

There's some mis-information here...the "Zero" demos were recorded in Electric Ladyland Studios in NYC in 1976...Gene Simmons(one of rock's biggest assholes) flew the band there after "claiming" to have "discovered" them...they did NOT bring their own equipment with so they had to use what was on hand...Gene(see earlier opinion) insisted that they record backing tracks first with NO leads contrary to what Ed wanted which is why all the leads sound disjointed because they were all overdubbed...
