Lars says that before Metallica had been formed, he and James went to a bar. When they walked in, he heard a guy playing bass like a guitar and when he turned around, all he saw was a mass of red hair flopping on stage. They both said..that's our bass player.
Imagine writing one of the greatest hard rock songs of all time....at 21 years old. They are phenoms.

I graduated high school at that time. The awesome high energy was just pouring out at that time. Definitely the most fun decade. Metal was coming of age. Check some Black Sabbath when it was a baby.
And just think they were all in their early 20's Sadly we lost Cliff around a yr later
If ever making a workout tape put this song in Twice! This starts my workout and in the middle gets me going again
It pisses me off that we don't get the whole Four Horsemen performance. It barely started before the cameraman cuts it short. Damn, I love that song.
The out of tune guitars always kill me, otherwise great performance!
