I mean, Kirk can't really nail that solo anymore, but its still impressive that they can do this good a job on that song at their age.

The inspiration for "Disposable Heroes" came from a picture on the wall of James Hetfield's brothers room..it was an American soldier fighting in Vietnam.Full army greens and gun in hand.

This album, Master of Puppets came out when I was in high school It was badass then, and still today remains on of the greatest albums ever....

Masdter of Puppets as a whole is a MASTERPIECE of an album, STILL their best, it's 8 tracks of stone-cold metal perfection, all killer no filler and every single one of them KICKS ARSE!!! I can't disagree much...personally, I just think Ride The Lightning tops it by a percentage point or two, hehe. On RTL they were beginning the transformation from pure thrash into this precision speedmetal, with a bit of that old, raw sound from Kill Em All too...plus it contains my favorite track of theirs of all time, Creeping Death. But, to each their own. I love this album too 🤘

@@Shawn-mo6dh It's very much an anti war song. Not only how soldiers are treated after the war, but during the war. Young men are used as cannon fodder for the goals of greedy politicians. "21, only son... he's yours to take away...", "Back to the front - You will do what I say, when I say back to the front, you will die, when I say you must die..."...

I was surprisingly impressed that they played this old relic with so much ferocity as the original. Very impressive. But the best part was watching Bisscute's reactions - she's so damn adorable - from her huge smiles to her animated antics to her hilarious commentary. This one delivered huge on all three.

Real intense & exhilarating Those Roaring guitars really delivered with James deep vocals & the lyrics really bring it home on the futility of war in the trenches. Bob Trujillo liked this before he even joined up while running in the Santa Monica hills with a couple of cassette's & said it's one of their best songs to introduce to new fans. I bet you would have wanted to be there Biss rocking out going the distance hell yeah!!! Disposable Heroes is one of my top3 Metallica songs of all time. But Bisscute, you missed a crucial part here - the meaning behind it. This whole song talks about young men dying in wars and their realities of it. "You will do what i do, when i say.." is just a direct order from a superior officer. James always wrote and still writes from the heart. Once you start to understanding the lyrics and what they meant, you will learn a whole new love for Metallica

I love your reactions❣😍 I wish Lars played like the way the sing was recorded. The drum rolls are epic and made him a respected drummer. This make them up as he goes along has been going on since the Black Album Tour. Which I saw them 5 times. Great song the recording version anyway. James singing the lyrics is still amazing as well as Kirk riffing. Plus the bassline is on point.

I've been lucky to see Metallica once. In a crowd of 52,000 people. I honestly wonder if they can hear the crowd at all? I know the show I was at Metallica was so loud not only could I not hear the person screaming the words out next to me, but I couldn't hear myself. Metallica live feels like a force of nature. Thankfully, for me, there's actually official Metallica live video from that particular show. I like to show it to people when they show a shot of the entire crowd and go "That's me! In the background! I'm right over there!" 😆 I also have to suggest, because it seems you have not done it yet, Metallica - Damage Inc. Though you may want to put some seat belts on that chair so you don't accidently fling yourself off keeping up with the song. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I got to see them five times. The first time there was only one hundred people or less there. Meet Cliff that night as Metallica and Armored Saint played basketball across the street.

I love these guys, I saw them on their Justice for all tour, 1989 I think. One of my favorite bands in concert was Testament. They still tour too. You should do more Testament. Some older songs Practice what you preach, new world order, or they have new songs from just a couple of years ago WWIII, Children of the next level,

I meet a guy that meet them like five times. One time he took a magazine for the band to sign the guitar player started changing the music notes and told him the magazine was a little off. True story he showed it to me.

The ticket package are a little pricey but you're seeing both Pantera and Metallica. So is worth it.
