  I can't help but draw parallels with how the USA was complicit covering up imperialist japan war crimes because they believed information they could gather (from "medical experiments" aka torture) was strategically important and didn't want the soviets to get it. But there ended up being - according to history - zero total useful pieces of information gathered. I wonder how useful the strategic nature of Israel will be remembered, given it may well actually be the cause of the USA's downfall in the global power structure

  According to TRT world Spain refused to dock a ship carrying arms to Israel, which was around 27 tonnes of explosives materials supposed to be shipped from India. Spain have not supplied any weapon to Israel since the war began in Middle East.

  Thanks Owen. The problem here is not the legal argument from South Africa it's the Geopolitics in such that America and the neocon west are mostly warmongers and don't distinguish between right and wrong. They are motivated by power, money and self-interest. If that don't change you can have 5 legal teams from the world, and nothing will happen. I can assure you if for instance South Africa will tomorrow invade or just attempt to send one tank to a Israeli or USA base we will be sanctioned into oblivion. So, no I lost my trust in this ICJ and this sanity of the neocon West.

  What was conducted by Hamas the official elected by the Palestinian people on the 7 October was barbaric, there is a law in life for evey action there is an equal and opposite reaction, Hamas declared war on Israel and brutally murdered over 1500 people within 12 hours.

  Yes. But how do we organise and form communities that can push back against our current economic system? This analysis of the problem is great, and the conclusion that we should organise is inspiring - but how do we do it? Who is going to organise the organising? And I'm not going down some animal farm critique here...I genuinely mean it: How are we going to organise so that we can become a credible challenge to the current gross imbalance of power. Any suggestions - beyond 'social media' - will be read with intense interest.

At least 30 missiles were fired by Hamas at Israel’s territory. Hamas fired at least ten missiles from the vicinity of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip at the Kerem Shalom checkpoint on Israel’s border with the enclave. Several people were hurt. The IDF confirmed reports about the shelling attack on Kerem Shalom. The crossing point was closed for trucks with humanitarian aid.
