you do realize that's not really what happening there. It's a way smaller demonstration than you think. and you thought that students were being abused. Your problem is that your stuck in your own little world and you believe anything that fits your narrative.

@blackjackpinoko is true, but that still counts. Depending on the country you are in, you may have completely different rights even if some do overlap. Right to protest by far is the most necessary one. By definition, if you protest someone is going to hate you cause they feel strongly about the opposite view point. Yet we shouldn't have the power to take their right to protest like they shouldn't have the right to do it to us (I'm not an american but the point stands either way)

Moderate israelis support a 1 state solution still, and believe Israel should be actively hunting Hamas, just not bombing civilians. These Israelis want Hamas to stop and let Israel take their lands as the primary goal. It's not "moderates" but near extremists who support 2 states and a withdrawal from non settled lands in Israel, and it's the 0.1% extreme who think lands should be given back to Palestine. Most Israelis support the war and oppression 100% up until bombing and murdering civilians

Thank you to Prof. Nara Milanich speaking out. I'm saddened that my country is supporting such brutality in Gaza. The reason our politicians (mostly) are supporting this is money. MONEY talks. Money pays for the weapons of this brutality. That money also pays for political campaigns in our own country. President Eisenhower tried to warn us of this undemocratic synergy in 1961: "This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. . . .Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. . . . In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist."
