The editing in this video is really good, especially at the end. It really captures Sif’s feelings of insanity with how fast it goes from hard moment to hard moment. And then when the faces of their friends and their voices calling their name with a bunch of loops happening. And the music. It really makes a point, and it sticks. It feels kind of like a movie trailer. I haven’t played this game, but I feel like it’d be a game that leaves me with a really deep feeling in my chest that I can’t describe. I’m gonna go watch a play though

Glad someone else shares my opinion on dogs... And more importantly their owners. Way too many owners do not have their dogs under control, and way too many dog owners don't know how to deal with people who are afraid of Dogs either... I think people should need a license to have any pet, really, but especially dogs... But Cynophopia rant aside, I think I agree with this analysis. Some interesting things I thought about while watching this: I feel like the gang works best when they are actually a gang of Nerds, going on adventures. If they don't work as a friend group, they don't work as the Gang. Shaggy, weirdly, is kind of an audience surrogate in the story... He is the one who doesn't quite have an idea what's going on, who actively experiences the horror as it happens. He is kinda just a dude, and is surprisingly grounded. Putting him in contrast to Scooby, who is there for the wacky cartoon shenanigans is definitely important for both of them. I feel like Velma's defining character trait really should be her confidence, more than her cynicism, that's what always stuck out to me anyways... She has it figured out, not just because she is smart, but because she is certain she has it figured out, no matter if she's right or wrong. In fact, it makes the moments where she is wrong even more interesting, because it shows how her book smarts aren't always enough to solve the mystery. Daphne often seems like she exists as a contrast to the Nerds, but I feel like, going back to what I mentioned with the "group of nerd", she should be her own type of nerdy too. If that's fashion, if that's badass-ery, doesn't matter. The MacGuyver vibe is definitely the right idea, I think... Make her the kind of person who watched a bunch of Action movies and uses that knowledge creatively. Fred is the heart of the group, and as Himbo as a Himbo can be. And I like how, similar to Kronk in Emperor's New Groove, while he is the "dumb muscle" of the group, he is still a big nerd... He is "dumb" because he hyper focuses on random interests of his, and he DOES NOT care about anything else lol So yeah, the gang should be a bunch of nerds, all interested in solving the mystery, but each with vastly different skill sets.
